Frank Castle had just ran into David Lieberman and his family again at a grocery store. Frank turned away, wanting to keep them at a safe distance, that way they wouldn't be caught in any crossfire if it were rediscovered that Frank Castle/The Punisher is still alive. But suddenly Leo and Sarah disappeared before David's eyes.
"Sarah, Leo... where are you?" David asked before he heard a voice.
"Dad?" Zach said as if asking a question before he too disappeared before David and Frank's eyes. Frank then looked around and saw lots of people were disappearing.
Dinah Madani was not expecting to hear about this kind of situation as she watched the news.
"What is going on?" Dinah asked herself as the horrors outside continued. She like many others was powerless to stop any of it.
