"Leah?" Mama asked.
"Yeah?" I responded, my mouth filled with a chocolate eclair.
"I have found you a husband!"
What the?
"Meet Duke Kenton."
The man who had stepped on my toes earlier stepped out from behind her.
"Hello." He slurred.
"Mama, I..."
She didn't let me finish my sentence.
"Oh, I knew that you would be overjoyed! Why, you'll be wed in a few months!"
I groaned.
Oh crud. I thought.
