Kingdom Hearts

Authors note: I really love these two and I've been a fan of Kingdom Hearts since a very young age, but only a couple years ago did I start to see the actual chemistry between these two and I've gotta say I dont know how I didnt before lol

"Hey Sora!"

Sora turned around in the hallway to find his best friend Kairi running up to him with a wide grin on her face.

"What's up, Kairi?" He asked, returning her smile. They had been friends forever, so its it's like their smiling was linked. If one was smiling the other was, and that was the best kind of friendship.

"So, you know what time of year it is, right?" She asked, giggling. She liked to tease Sora with these kinds of things, cause she knew he wasnt very quick on the uptake. Even he knew that.

"What is it?" He asked, not one to starting guessing and just one to get straight to the point.

"You're no fun, Sora. At least guess." She pouted, pushing him playfully. The halls were full, so Sora ended up bumping into the person next to him.

"Sorry about that." He said, laughing nervously.

"You just have to be in the way, dont you Sora?" Sora heard a familiar sarcastic voice, one that seemed to always denote a tone of sass.

"Oh hey Roxas." Sora said, moving a little so he could fall in line with him and Kairi while they walked. He had known Roxas for a little while too, although not nearly as long as Kairi. Roxas had always been sort of the edgier one in the group, with his stud earrings and his black and white clothes.

He also had enough sarcastic and cynical comments to frighten anyone, but all in all he was a really good guy. He was nice and actually liked to have fun just as much as the rest of them.

"Sora here doesnt even know what's going on this week." Kairi leaned forward to look at Roxas who laughed a little, Kairi joining him.

"Really? I've been planning all week." Roxas laughed and winked at Kairi.

"Can you guys just tell me?" Sora said exhasperatedly, he was often the easiest to mess with, but he knew that they were just messing around. He'd get them back later.

"March twelfth is spring day, which means you get flowers for your significant other or your friends." Kairi said excitedly, "theres a really nice flower shop near here, my friend works there, I'm going after school." She said.

"Shoot I totally forgot!" Sora exclaimed. It wasnt a day that everyone celebrated, but it had become a custom for Sora and Kairi, as well as anyone who happened to join their friend group.

"Knew you would." Kairi laughed and Roxas joined her.

"You want to come with me to the flower shop? I'm going with Xion and Namine." She asked.

"Sure!" Sora responded happily, "but its it's not for another couple of days, wont they wilt?"

"We're just going to look today." A quiet voice behind them said, a short, black haired girl joined their group as they walked, accompanied by a girl with blonde hair.

"Hey Xion. Namine." They all greeted the two. They had a pretty big group of friends compared to most, but they all felt comfortable with each other, and that's all that mattered.
