I walked into my fourth period class slowly.
Why was I so nervous about a class with Adex?..
I noticed that the tables were paired up.
He probably has a partner already.
I stood up near the front and just watched people file into their desks.
Then I saw Adex and I watched him sit near the back.
His brown eyes looked up then looked away quickly.
He didn't want to sit with me anyways.
"Hey" a blonde girl said, smiling at me "you're new. But the only spot open is in the back near Adex; the tall guy in all black."
I smiled politely back even though I felt like she had given me the worst news ever "thank you" I managed.
I walked slowly back to the table Adex was at and I sat down.
His eyes didn't leave me the whole time.
"Hey" I said awkwardly.
"Hey" he said, still watching me.
Fuck. Was there something on my face?..
"So" he said awkwardly "how good at art are you?"
I pulled out my sketchbook and slid it closer to him "well, I'm not the best ever but I'm not awfult."
He flipped through the book and studdied each drawing.
I suddenly felt embarrassed that most of my drawing were cute animals and I knew that wasn't his style.
His lips twitched up into a small smile as he came to a drawing of a small girl in overalls and she had cute pigtails.
"This style is really cutesy" he noted.
"What about you?" I asked.
He glanced up and slid me a sketchbook.
I opened it and gasped.
Holy shit he's amazing!
There was an amazing drawing of Tanner and Luna; it was so perfectly done..
I flipped through and there were loads of pictures of realistic animals and pictures of Tanner and Luna.
Then as i closed it i noticed one at the end and i flipped it open to it and gasped.
Adex snatched his sketchbook back and shoved it in his bag.
He had drawn me..
His eyes looked almost sad or scared as he glanced up at me and cleared his throat "oh, um.. Luna said you should sit with us at lunch."
I smiled at the thought of sitting with Luna.
"I'm sorry" Adex said softly.
I glanced up and frowned "why?"
He stared at the floor "the drawing; it's just you and Luna have similar body types and I got bored of drawing her and Tanner."
For some reason my heart dropped at this information "oh" I said quietly.
So it's just cause I look similar to Luna..
Through our the class Adex stayed quiet and just sketched.
When the bell rang I jumped but Adex just put his sketchbook away and stood up.
I gathered my pencils and tossed them in my bag but as I tried to get up I tripped and fell backwards.
Adex caught me and blushed slightly as he stood me up right.
"Thank you" I said awkwardly; I felt my face heaten.
He nodded awkwardly and grabbed my bag "I'll carry it so you dont fall" he said, attempting to make a joke.
I nodded and followed him.
I was so confused when we walked outside but I then spotted Luna and Tanner under a tree.
Luna's face lit up when she saw us approaching.
She jumped off Tanner's lap and skipped over "hi Drew!" She said and threw her arms around me and squeezed me in a tight hug.
I smiled when she pulled back.
She grabbed my hand and pulled me over to where Tanner sat and I turned to see Adex was following behind us closely.
"So I brought extra food if you want some!" Luna said happily.
I sat beside her and to my surprise Adex sat next to me.
I glanced over at him and watched him pull back out his sketchbook and keep drawing.
"So why's Adex carrying your bag?" Tanner asked with a big smile.
Luna smacked Tanner's arm then held out a plate to me.
It had dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and goldfish on it.
I couldn't help but smile over how cute it was.
I took the plate happily and started snacking on the dino nuggets happily.
Luna smiled at me "aren't they so yummy?"
I nodded back happily as I ate more of them.
"Are you a little?" Tanner asked.
I looked up at him.
A little what?
"I dont think she knows what that means" Luna said.
I shook my head and kept eating the dino nuggets.
Tanner laughed "To bad. She's just a cutesy vanilla."
"Leave her alone" Adex growled.
I turned to look at him; surprised he had stood for me.
His eyes never left his sketchbook si I scooted closer to look at what he was drawing.
I smiled when I saw it was Luna and I and we were both in super cute matching dresses.
"Pretty" I said even though I had a mouthful so it sounded like "pwetta".
Adex smiled at me softly.
"Let me see!" Luna squealed.
Adex held it out to where Luna and Tanner could see.
