A prologue is a story that takes place before or after the actual book itself but is still important.
TYPES OF PROLOGUES
1. Start with an email or letter
2. Written from a point of view never used again.
3. The Prologue is what happens at the end of the book.
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF WHY WRITING A PROLOGUE:
1. Is it Necessary?
* not every book needs a prologue. a prologue is optional. It is great if you have one, but you aren't forced to have a prologue in your book.
2. Is it Interesting?
*you don't want your prologue to be all information.
*A prologue should still be a story.
3. Is it short?
*Most prologues are normally the same length as an average chapter in the book.
*3-5 pages are the most common.
