You already saw the chapter for Underwriters. This chapter is mostly for those who are Overwriters. But anyone is welcome to read this.
1. Get Rid of Unnecessary Scenes
* if it doesn't make sense, get rid of it.
*If it has nothing to do with the plot or subplot, delete it.
2. Combine scenes
*if a scene is familiar with another scene, combine both scenes.
3. Look for Scenes that Drag.
*going on, on, on, and on. (delete some. please.)\
*unless its necessary
*if it seems boring, also delete that, cause if its boring to you, guess who else will get bored?
4. Eliminate Redundancies
*reduce details on one certain thing.
5. Trim
*deleting sentences that offer too many details
