Would You Still Be There?

Chapter 11

Violet's POV

Sh*t. Please tell me that he isn't staying here too. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to see him again until Saturday.

"Violet?" Jai asked me when he realized who I was. "What are you doing here?"

"Uhm... I'm staying here," I answered rather harshly. " What are you doing here?"

"The guys and I are staying here as well... We really need to talk."

"Save it Jai. Okay, I don't want your pity and I'm really tired. I don't know why you did it, and I'm just not in the mood to talk about it tonight. Maybe another time." I then walked off to find Lily sitting at a table eating. She was completely oblivious to the fact that the Janoskians, minus Jai, were sitting behind her, so I decided to have a little fun.

"Hey, Lily, do you think the Janoskians are in town yet?" I asked trying to make normal conversation.

"I dunno. They haven't tweeted anything about it," she said shrugging.

"I think they are," I said trying to conceal my smirk. "In fact, I think they are closer than we think."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I really don't think they are here."

"Fine, I'm going to get some more food," I said before standing up and walking opposite from the boys. When I made sure that she wasn't looking, I swung back around and walked over to the table my idols were sitting at. I concealed my inner Fangirl as I walked up to the table.

"Hey, guys! Look, I'm really big fan, you kinda saved my life, but my friend is sitting behind you and is kind of oblivious to the fact that you guys are sitting right behind her. Can you guys maybe run up behind her and yell "We're the Janoskians" like you do at the beginning of your videos? I kinda wanna scare her," I said suppressing a giggle.

They all nodded and then Daniel blurted out, "aren't you the girl from The Varsity? The one that was sitting with Jai?" My breathing hitched and I nodded. The guys all nodded in understanding when they saw my face. I walked back over to the table and sat down.

"Hey, weren't you going to get some food?"

"Yeah, but I couldn't find anything I wanted. Besides, I don't think NOW is the time for food."

"Wh-"

"HEY GUYS! WE'RE THE JANOSKIANS!!" Beau, Daniel, Luke, and James jumped up behind Lily and she screamed. Lily then fell out of the chair to be caught by Beau.

"W-what happened?" She asked, stuttering as she came to again.

"Look at who's holding you," I said smirking. I swear her breathing hitched and so did mine because I couldn't stop laughing. Beau helped her back up into her chair and they joined our table.

"So what's up?" Daniel asked. I shook my head and raised my shoulders.

"Nothing much. A very eventful day," I said giving them a look meaning not to bring it up. "What about you guys?"

"We landed early this morning and have just been hanging out since. We have rehearsals tomorrow morning and then we're free until the show," Beau said while looking at Lily. I think someone's got a crush. I smiled to myself before feeling a chair next to me move. I looked up to find that Jai was sitting next to me. I instantly felt my heart speed up, but I didn't want to show it. I still don't want to talk to him about what happened earlier.

"What did I miss?" Jai asked the group.

"We met Lily and Violet, Lily fainted, and Beau flirted," Luke said, earning him a hit on the back of the head by his older brother. Everyone laughed and Lily and Beau blushed.

"Nice to meet you, Lily," Jai said smiling. "Violet..."

"I'm going to go back up to my room. I'll talk to you guys later. Lily get their numbers; my phone died. Maybe we can meet up tomorrow?" The boys nodded and I left the table. My heart rate finally slowed and I was capable of breathing normally again.

I walked to the elevator and pressed the button for the seventh floor. Just as the doors were shutting, someone stopped them.

"Violet," Jai said sighing. "Can we please talk about this?"

"Fine, Jai. Just not in my room because I don't want Lily walking in. She doesn't know what happened. The guys at least know that we met before." He nodded and stepped back up against the rail as we waited for our floor. We stepped out onto the seventh floor and headed to the right. Turns out, they were staying right across the hall from Lily and I. We walked inside and Jai closed the door.

"Okay, Jai. We are here. Now, please explain." I said getting to the point. My heart beat was accelerating again. I never felt like this around Ethan...

"Violet..."
