Chapter 12

Jai's POV

I can't keep pretending like this didn't happen. It did, and I need to talk to her about it. I have never believed in love at first sight, but then Violet came along. I just don't know where my head is at right now.

"Violet...," I said sighing as I sat on the opposite bed. I placed my elbows on my knees and stared at the ground.

"I'm listening," Violet said rather annoyed.

"Look, I get you don't want to talk about this, but it happened. We have to talk about it sooner or later."

"I prefer later."

"Well, I don't think I can wait until later."

"Then tell me, Jai. Why did you kiss me? After everything I told you, why did you kiss me? You don't know what you are getting yourself into."

"Look, I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to kiss you. It just happened. My emotions got the better of me. I saw a beautiful girl sitting in front of me that has been through a hard time, one she doesn't deserve, and needed some cheering up. I don't believe in love at first sight, but when I saw you I was sure as h*ll close to it. Do you have any idea how much it is eating me up to not just kiss you now?" That made her be quiet. It shocked me too. Did I want to kiss her again? I just met her. Why am I feeling like this?

"Please say something." I whispered. I felt tears brimming my eyes. I closed my eyes so I wouldn't have to see the look on her face. I knew she would be shocked and hurt. I don't blame her. She's been through a lot and then I kiss her. I'm such a screw up.

"Jai?" Violet whispered. I looked up to find her sitting right in front of me now. "I kinda wanna kiss you too," and with that, our lips collided. It was passionate, not like the one from before. Our lips moved in sync until I pulled away for air. We placed our foreheads together and just sat in the silence until there was a knock at the door.

"Oi Jai! Open up!" Beau yelled, banging on the door.

"And where the h*ll did Violet go!? Lily is freaking out because she can't find her!"

"I think that's my cue to leave," Violet said giggling. I laughed along and we slowly got up. I walked her to the door and opened it. Allowing her to walk out before the boys came in.

"Jai, close your mouth you c*nt. You'll catch flies," James said hitting me on the back of the head.

"What the h*ll happened between you too, and why are you smiling?" Daniel asked.

"DID YOU HAVE SEX WITH HER!?" Luke yelled.

"You better have used protection or I'm telling mum," Beau playfully added.

"No, we didn't have sex you d*ckhead," I said throwing a pillow at Luke. "She just made me happy, that's all." I smiled to myself before walking to the bathroom and locking the door. Could this be it? Could I really be falling in love with someone I just met? I feel like I've known her for years.

What'd you think? c: It's so hard to use Australian terminology because I'm freaking southern. I say y'all and ain't in basically every sentence. Do you realize how hard this is? xD
