3 years later, and Shrek was single. Shrek did not know what to do anymore. He kept all of Shadow's sob stories, and burned them all.
He began to clean his room, getting rid of all of the photos that had Shadow in them. Donkey questioned Shrek's behaviour. "It's been 3 years Shrek.. and you haven't moved on?" He was worried about Shrek.
"I have!" Shrek answered. "What do you think I'm doing?! Go back into your room!" Donkey felt a little down, but was waiting for Raphael to pick him up. "I hope Master Raphael comes here sooner. I want to get out of this chain of misery!"
Shrek suddenly broke down into tears, as he cleaned the swamp.
Meanwhile, Amy was cooking waffles to greet Donkey and welcome Shrek. "Right, this will do." She was proud of her efforts.
Raphael used the map Donkey gave to him and followed the directions to the swamp. He was very pleased about meeting Shrek, but mostly picking up Donkey.
Shrek finished cleaning his house, and wanted to take a rest.
