Lance a woke to the sounds of police sirens speeding down his street, lance dashing towards his window to look at the flashing cars " what happened?" He whispered to himself, not really caring he walks down stairs " you see the police cars drive by ? " he says as he sits down infront of the counter where he Mom is making her Sunday breakfast " ya I did, maybe you should turn on the news " she motions to the small tv sitting in the corner of the counter, lance turns it on listening
" police arrive at the scean around 6:45, police say a man Kyle hogkins attacked his roommate Keith kogane and when his friends came to the rescue he attacked them, the police question the roommate before he heads to the hospital with his two other friends, Kyle hogkins  the man who attacked the now reported 17 year old roommate is charged with rape sexual abuse and assault "

Lance just stared at the tv wide eye " no " he whispers to him self " what's the sweetie " he Mom asks " uh nothing, I gotta go I'll be back in a hour " and with out saying another word lance left his house, speeding down the road towards Keith house " I should have been there " lance cries to himself, coming up to the house lance sees Keith get in the ambulance " god dammit " lance smacks the passenger side seat in rage , turning around he heads towards the park " I can't keep doing this, not if he's getting hurt " suddenly lance gets a text. It's from Keith

Lance just looked at his phone smal tears coming out of his eyes ' at least he liked it ' lance thought, lance looked at the screen and texted back about how worried he is and how he saw the news, Keith didn't seem to happy that the news practically revealed what happed but he's glad that lance knows, lance would go on texting Keith trying to cheer him after the traumatic event and it worked kinda, keith was feeling better, Keith and lance texted each other for about 30 Minutes till Keith had to go for a examination

Lance smiled as much as he loved Keith he wanted to say it first preferably when they were face to face but this was just as good, driving away from the park lance stopped by store to pick up some sweets and a card

Lance arrived back home smelling breakfast " finally " his mom said " sorry I had to do something " lance said scratching the back of his head " like go out and buy candy ?" Lances Mom said looking at the bag " no, yes well, this is for someone " lance pulled the bag behind his back " oh a girl is it ? What her name, I have to meet her lance, is she cute? I bet she's really hot " lance Mom pestered him " ya sure " lance says before dashing to his room ' do they really want me to date a girl that bad ?' Lance thought to him self as he was hiding the sweets so his little siblings won't eat it

Lance enjoyed his bacon and eggs with a side of toast " thank Mom " lance says chewing his food " close your mouth " his mom chirps. Lance continues to eat enjoying his wonderful breakfast.

Keith laid in the hospital bed listening to the nurses jokes, he usually keeps to himself but this nurse seem to make him say everything kinda like leggy, " so the person you were texting, was it your boyfriend?" The nurse ask teasing Keith " kinda, he hasn't exactly came out of the closet so he's keeping himself hidden but he loves me and I love him so I guess ya " Keith smiled at the thought of leggy " damn, if you and him ever break up you could always hit me up " the nurse said shooting finger guns at him, Keith laughed but as much as this nurse seem nice he knew he loved leggy " thanks but I'll pass " Keith said trying to be nice about it, they laughed and the nurse continued on with his examination with the doctor who just arrived

" HONEY IM HOME " lance heard those words coming downstairs ' shit ' lance whispered, his step dad was home, lance hated his step dad he was always picking on him and his siblings, lance stepped out of his room when he was faced with his step dad " ahh hey lance, where's your rose ?" Lances step dad asked " MOM went out to get more dog food, she'll be back in a few minutes " lance pushes past his step dad " when she gets home tell her to come to our room, okay ?" Lances step dad yelled through the hall, lance walked to the basement trying to far away from him as possible, though he could drive off but he would have no way to text Keith without going over his data limit, lance flops on old couch that sitting down stairs and turns on the old tv " what are you doing down here " he sister ask as she coming down the stairs " Roberts home " lance doesn't even look at his sister just continues to watch the old tv " shit, mind if I hang down here for a while at least till mom gets home " lance nodded his head to his sister request, the two sit watching the only channel the tv could get, they didn't mind at least their favourite show from when they were kids was play, Voltron 1980 classic that his dad use to put on " damn I miss this show " lance said getting up and heading to the mini fridge for some pop " ya me too, did you dad named you after one of the characters " his sister said with a snicker " what no way, who " lance said sarcastically already knowing who, the two giggled " I'm home " lance heard his mom from the main floor, rushing up he tells her rob is home, she sighs and walks upstairs to her husband.
