I know I posted the note before chapter 18 and somehow the note came after but that's okay, I still wanna say thank you all for the support it's been a while since my aunt passed and all of your comments have kept me going, in sorry this story is taking years to finish but I want y'all to have long and detail chapters, I'm still working on my writing skills and I know it can be cringing but somehow your all still here 😂 I love y'all ❤️

lance woke up to a motion in the bed " Keith?" lance whispered out. No response " you okay bud?" lance sat up and seen Keith tossing and turning still asleep " nightmare" the boy sighed out lance was quick to turn and move towards the boy " I got you buddy" lance laid back down and spooned the boy trying to give him comfort. " it's okay " lance pulled the boy into him leaving an arm around his waist

Keith woke up feeling the warmth on his back, it's been ages since he's felt that and he didn't bother to look over instead he'd back up closer and softly smiled. Keith rolled burrying his face in his neck, Keith's eyes shot open when he remembered who was in bed with him. He let go and sat up " I-ii" he stuttered and feel off the bed

lance opened his eyes to the thud " mm?" he sat up rubbing his eyes " I'm up mom I swear" he mumbled as he moved his hair. He opened an eye to look around at his surroundings, his eyes looked to the floor " oh hi " he said with a yawn stretching his arm

Keith mumbled under his breath to himself " you cradle me and all you say is hi?" lance looked down at his words " no idea what you talking about" he rubbed his other eye and turned his head to the window " I'm going back to bed since the rain hasn't let up " he grabbed the blanket and pulled it over his head

Keith stood up and pointed his finger at lance " wha- you just, uhhh" he dragged his hands through his hair "rrrr whatever" he grabbed his phone from his nightstand and checked the time " I'm making flipping coffee" he grabbed his online lover jacket and walked down the old squeaky stairs to the kitchen

Lance was blushing hard under the blanket " I didn't just do that?" he whispered to himself " no no no oh God " he whispered again pulled his hands over his face

Keith prepped the coffee and pulled out the eggs from the fridge, he left his phone on the kitchen table while he crack open the eggs. " hey, how do you want your eggs?" he yelled hoping lance would hear him, he heard a thud followed by footsteps " scrambled " lance yelled as he walked down the stairs with Keith blanket over his head. The tall tan boy sat at the table and waited for his food

Lance walked out the shower wrapping a towel across his waist " hmm nice and clean" he spoke to himself. He took a look in the foggy mirror and examined his face " definitely need to wash my face when I get home ". He dried off his body and through on his clothes " you done in there " Keith yelled from behind the door

Lance opened the door and looked him dead in the eyes " you cant rush beauty rat boy" he mocked the end of his words, Keith looked at him with wide eyes shocked by the four but a bit more shocked by the fact his friend was now shirtless " uhhh" he realized lances words and went blank. " wait rat?" he crossed his arms looking up at him and not his skin " the hell?" Keith gave a puzzled look. Lance rolled his eyes and closed the door " ill come out when I'm ready " he yelled through the door.

The rain had hadn't lighten up, wind Howling on their side of the house-made this small dangling light move even so slightly " maybe I should get you home" Keigo looked at the light " chance the power could go out and the house isn't warm when the weather gets bad " lance turned his head away from the tv " you sure? Roads are probably still bad " lance came up with the excuse, lance knew home wasn't the best when his stepdad was home and the rain was keeping him home " I'm sure my mom would be fine with it " Keith looked out the window as he listened to lance " what about your stepdad?" Keith asked. He watched as lance got silent, he thought to himself for a second before grabbing his keys " cmon were going shopping " he stood at the door waiting " what?" lance popped his head up " I don't own many blankets so get your princess slippers on " Keith pointed to the shoes. Lance nodded and put his shoes on still wondering what with was doing " uhh okay? Still don't see how-" Keith cut his off by tossing lances jacket at him " don't ask questions, I need snacks anyways " the boys walked out of the house and ran to the car, after getting in Keith drove carefully to their local store

The boy had fun while shopping, buying the things they needed and maybe a little bit of a snack. The two boys laughed as they tried to beat the rain to the car " did you have to splash me, you ass " lance chuckled, Keith let out a breath as he closed his door " well if you didn't kick the puddle at me then maybe wouldn't have " Keith spoke as he turned the car on, he cracked his window and lit up a cigarette " you mind?" he looked at lance not really caring if minded or not. The brunette shook his head and began fame coughing " your killing me " he joked as Keith pulled out the parking lot

The ride home was filled with smoke and shitty country music according to lance, but of course, the music changed once they got back in the house " hey where's my drink " lance asked picking through the bag, the boy didn't even realize Keith was behind him, Keith moved he arm inches away from lance as he reached in the bag his chin hovering over his shoulder " do I have to do everything " Keith mumbled his chest unknowingly pressed against lances back

Sorry for the late update, been busy with covid and all that and work is hella stressful but I do have good news, I plan on becoming a full-time writer off of Wattpad so no more shitty spelling mistakes I can't be bothered to fix 😂 I plan on moving this story to ao3 bc I feel like Wattpad is laggy for me like ive put off writing on her bc the lag is so bad but I will give updates for when the story is moved on their but thanks for the support over the years words can not describe how much yalls support warms my heart, anyway stay safe love ya ❤️
