Cross POV.
"Senpai!!!"
"No- I'm busy-" Nightmare says almost instantly when I call for him.
As usual, Nightmare is ignoring me as if I don't exist. It's not fair. My friend, Dream- Nightmare's twin brother- keeps telling me that I need to stick up for myself but I don't want Senpai to hate me...
"What are you busy with...?" I ask.
"None of your damn business."
".....Whatever." I say in annoyance, I've had enough. I don't want to make him hate me but he treats me badly either way so I don't care anymore!
"Ex...cuse me?" Nightmare says grabbing my arm as I try to storm off.
"I said.."WHATEVER!" Get off of me! Don't suddenly start acting like you know OR care that I exist-!" I pull away and start walking away again. I've had enough. I've had MORE than enough.
"WAIT-" Nightmare calls out changing into his passive form and stumbling over his own feet to get to me "WAIT PLEASE-" He grabs my wrist "Don't go! I...FUCK- I didn't mean it Cross!"
I look back at him...I don't believe him and I keep going. Something is off about him but....I don't care anymore!
Nightmare grabs me again. "CROSS PLEA-SE!" I turn to fully look at him and I realize what was so different about him...He's crying.
"You're..."
"Please don't go!! I DIDNT MEAN IT! ITS JUST THE WAY I AM- I DONT HATE YOU! PLEASE! STAY!"
"...." I allow him to hug me when he reaches out.
"I'm sorry...I love you...I do...I...I can show you..." And before I know it he's kissing me. I've never been more surprised in my life, but even I know when to take an opportunity and I kiss back.
