Will you ever find me?

If only...

Jace P.O.V
I took in the sight in front of me. At first when I heard the doorbell I thought it was Clary, but this isn't my Clary. This girl is the exact opposite actually. Straight brown hair cascaded down her back and her eyes were a light bluish color. "Unfortunately I ran into some demons on my way here and broke my stele. I could use a few new seraph blades too." The girl said. Izzy who had appeared next to me beckoned her inside. "The clave didn't tell us anything about a transfer" Alec said. Magnus looked at the girl quizzically.

Clary P.O.V
I had to think quickly. I probably should have thought of an excuse before I knocked, but I was too eager to see my friends, to see Jace. "Um yeah that's the thing, this isn't exactly an official transfer I kind of let my old institute because I wanted to come to New York." Way to go Clary way to go I thought to myself.

Alec P.O.V
I was feeling a little suspicious about this girl but as head of the institute it's my job to provide refuge to any Shadowhunter. I could tell everyone was thinking the same thing so after a few seconds of awkward silence I decided to break the ice. "Well lets go to the armory and get you some weapons and a new stele then" I said. Jace shot a glance at me but hey who knows, maybe Rachael will be an asset to helping us find Clary.

Izzy P.O.V
I just showed Rachael to her room and was heading to mine when I heard Magnus yelling. "Alec, Jace, Simone get your butts in here the tracking spell is done!" I heard Simon yell back at him " My name is not Simone it's Simon!" Even under the circumstances I couldn't help but let out a giggle. I headed to the library to see if the spell was successful or not.

Clary P.O.V
It was so hard to see everyone and not be able to run up and hug them. Especially Jace. Sebastian was right. This is the worst form of torture. I knew they were still looking for me and I was causing them all such grief when I was really right under their noses. It was too hard to think about. I lay on my bed in my new room and thought about my actual one just down the hall across from Izzy's. As we were walking by it the door was open a crack and I saw the pictures of me and Simon, me and Jace, and all of us together that littered my nightstand and my desk. It brought tears to my eyes. I decided the best way to distract myself was to pull out my phone and watch some mundane TV. Before I learned about the shadow world i had a favorite TV show that I watched all the time. It was my absolute favorite and one of the only ties I had left to my mundane life.  The cast was amazing and  it represented so many wonderful things. As I searched it I came across many articles and posts that the show had been cancelled. I already lost enough today, but I watched
it anyway.
