Time Travel

8 3 4

If given the choice,
To travel through time.
I'd jump and rejoice,
And not spend another dime.

An era so long ago,
When Adam came.
Eve had followed,
And God had started a game.

A civilization was born,
Building houses and dam.
Growing veggies and corn,
The very cradle of life of man.

I saw man's first kill,
On a humid summer morning.
A gust of the winter chill,
And tiger skin I saw them wearing.

In Greece, I saw,
Socrates and Aristotle.
In Europe, I saw,
"Hello!" Said by Graham Bell.

From Shakespeare to Stephen King,
In literature we progressed.
From Newton to Stephen Hawking,
Science too progressed.

With a jolt I landed,
And squealed like a mouse.
The time travel had ended,
I was back in my house.
