Hello and Welcome to my new Book "Welcome to the Literature Club!". I wanted to make a DDLC book for some time now, even though I have so many other stories to write atm. ^^; To start this book, I decided to write a Yuri x Reader because she's my best girl. ♡ I hope you enjoy!

I was glad the week finally came to an end. I was exhausted due to lots of exams this week. Club activities were about to end soon, so I packed my things and put my bag over my shoulder. Usually, I'd leave together with Yuri, but she mysteriously vanished 10 minutes ago. I was a little worried but decided to just ignore it. She'll be alright.

As I got out of the school building, I noticed the downpour. I was so focused on my book today, that I didn't even notice that it started to rain. I always have an umbrella with me, so I began to search my bag for it. I searched and searched, but I couldn't find it.

I sighed and decided to stand underneath the small canopy infront of the school to wait for the rain to stop. 10 minutes passed, and it kind of seemed like the rain was just getting worse. 20 minutes passed. Then 30. Waiting there for so long made me pretty tired, so I sat down on a nearby bench.

I got out my ear buds and plugged them into my phone to listen to some music. Without realizing, I dozed off a little. After a short while, someone lightly shook me. "Wake up, (y/n)! Did you actually sleep here?" A purple haired girl said. I opened my eyes to notice it was Yuri.

"Huh?" I rubbed my eyes and looked around. "Seems like it. I waited for the rain to stop since I forgot my umbrella and dozed off." I chuckled a little insecurely. Yuri smiled at me. "I've got an umbrella. Let's walk home together."

---

Yuri and I had to walk really close to each other so we'd both fit underneath the umbrella. Sometimes our shoulders touched and I could feel her warmth. I was turning a little red whenever we touched.

"Say, (y/n), you've been pretty focused on your book today! What is it about?" Yuri suddenly broke the silence between us. "Oh, it's a really nice fantasy Roman about cats living in the woods. They're warriors that are fighting for their clan. It's really interesting!" I smiled.

I quickly got out the book. "This is the 4th book of the 3rd season, but I'd lend you the first book if you want to read it!" Yuri curiously looked at the books cover. "Warrior Cats, hm?" She mumbled. "Seems interesting!" She smiled at me. "I'd love to read it!"

We were soon standing in front of my house. "Well, see you on Monday at school, Yuri!" I said and was about to walk to the front door when Yuri stopped me. "Hey! Why don't we meet today? I'd really love to read that book and spend some time with you in general. We haven't been doing much together since you joined." Yuri seemed to be enthusiastic about it, so I couldn't say no.

"Sure. No problem." I replied with a smile. "You can meet me at my house around 7pm. I just live around the corner at xxxstreet XX. Bring everything you need for a sleepover and don't forget the book!" With that, Yuri cheerfully walked away to her own place. I chuckled as she waved off. She's really cute, I had to admit that.

What the heck are you thinking?!

---

Before heading to Yuri's place, I changed into some cosy casual clothes and packed my stuff. I packed the book into my bag. As I looked at the bookshelf, I decided to bring the 2nd book with me in advance. You never know. This time, while walking to Yuri's place, I had an umbrella with me at least. It'd be a little awkward to get there all soaked just because you're to dumb to find your umbrella.

I rang the doorbell. Yuri instantly opened the door and greeted me with a hug. I was a little confused but hugged her back at some point. "Make yourself at home, (y/n)! I'm preparing dinner right now, so please have a seat in the dining room." She walked infront of me, leading me to the dining room. She wore a beige turtleneck sweater along with some black pants. She looked really good in it.

Oh please...
---

I really had to admit how great of a cook Yuri was. She made a Salisbury steak. It was absolutely amazing. Anyone who doesn't like Salisbury steak would love this.

After diner, we went up to her room and lay down on her bed. We were next to each other, slightly touching yet again as we both read our books. I was really deep into reading when Yuri began to talk to me. I didn't notice until she snapped her fingers in front of me. She scared me a little and I fell off the bed. I was lucky that the bed wasn't that high. Still, I hit my head lightly.

"Ugh..." I held my head in pain and sat up. "Oh god, I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" Yuri asked worriedly. "I'm get you some ice!" She then rushed out the room without waiting for me to answer.

She soon got back and placed the ice on my head. "Thanks a lot, Yuri." I gently smiled at her. Yuri just apologized all the time and was pretty worried about me. "Don't worry so much, okay?" I said. Then, the smile on my face faded due to the pain in my head area. Yuri suddenly grabbed the ice and put it away. She then kissed my head lightly.

"Better now?" She asked with a red face. I blushed and looked at her confused. "Yuri? Yuri shrieked.  I'm sorry!" She almost shouted. "Don't apologise for everything!"
