Why
I need you
It was 2 in the afternoon and I knew I had to face him soon. I told him to meet me at the frozen yogurt place that was just down the street from our apartment.
When I got there I'd expect him to be there but he wasnt, so I bought myself yogurt and sat outside.
"Emma," I heard behind me.
"Sit down" I said in a small voice and saw him make his way on the other side.
"Why haven't you answered." he was shaking, and I hadn't seen him this disturbed in so long
"No time," I said shoving a spoon full of my frozen yogurt
"I just, I need you," he sighed "I need you to want me to stay" his eyes glistened "and I don't know what's happening, and I don't want you to leave." he sighed "and you're the only one I can't tickle please"
"You're crazy" I smiled down at my cup.
"I know but it's all for you" he smiled too
And I knew this was a bad idea but my heart was racing and my palms were becoming sweaty just like the first time we met
I looked up and I felt it there again
"Let's go home" I smiled up at him
"Really?" he yelled out "I mean um finish your yogurt" he scratched the back if his neck
I laughed, and maybe I did love him because my stomach made this little flip and it was as if I needed to pee from happiness.
