CHAPTER NINETEEN - What... What just happened?

Ichiko's POV

Ben looked panicked, and like he was trying to process what I just said. His eyes moved from left to right rapidly.

"Is it... True?" Ben asked

I couldn't answer him. My nose was too busy bleeding, I don't exactly know when, it just suddenly happened. Next thing I knew was that I collapsed on the cold cement floor.

I jolted up and breathed rapidly. I looked at the couch I was in, which made me relieved. I was in my living room.

Then I suddenly remembered, and flinched when I just noticed the someone was sitting on the opposite couch.

He wasn't familiar. He had salt-and-pepper colored hair and a playful face. He wore a leather jacket and was staring at me with a smirk

"Where's my brother?" I glared at him

"Easy on the longing look, love." He teased

"Oh, shut up" I stood up and was about to walk away

"Ah-ah-ah. Sit down, sweetheart" He gripped My shoulder and pushed me back in the sofa.

"Have you forgotten that you just collapsed?" He tilted his head while raising an eyebrow

I sarcastically gave him the same look "I'm fine. Who are you supposed to be anyway? And why are you guys with Ben? Don't tell me You..."

He yawned "You call him Ben? Anyways, He's our leader"

"What?" I looked at him "Leader?"

"You are too slow, love" He faked a pitying look "He has been the leader of our gang for a long time"

"He's a gang leader?" I looked from left to right "How long?"

"Dunno" He shrugged "Long"

I scowled at him. Suddenly the sound of heavy footsteps approached. The muscle freak came in the room

"Hey big guy!" I looked at him "Where the hell is my brother?"

He looked at me, and his gold eyes almost made me flinch.

"He's taking a look at your room" He said.

I realized, it was the first time I heard him speak. I thought his voice would be really deep or something. Turns out it was just like, normal deep.

"He can't look at my stuff! I have personal stuff!" I ran upstairs. Muscle guy didn't stop me

I ran to my room and swung the door open

"What the hell are you doing?" I said

I saw him scrolling through a phone. Not even looking up at me.

Then I widened my eyes. I checked all my pockets quickly... My phone... My phone!

"What do you think your doing?!" I tried to snatch my phone back, but he kept it away from my reach

"You have a boyfriend?" He said, basically ignoring the way I just yelled at him

"What?" I asked in confusion

"Let me rephrase that" He lifted his hands up "You have boyfriends?" He put emphasis on the letter S

"What? Of course not. What, you think of me as a... Well the point is I don't" I said
