I had gotten my mate back I think while walking into my office with Josh and my mate following me. They sat down after I did. "where did both of you go because it took a year to find you? " I say a little hurtful. Josh started speaking " we went back to where our past was and faced it head on." " it wasn't easy for both of us. " Rose said. " what do you both mean? " I asked. " we mean that we went to where we were raised. " Josh said as Rose looked down. "okay, i was wondering, your both are dismissed." I say as I look out the window. " okay, let's go sis. " Josh says while getting up and walking to the door. " I will be home soon so go ahead. " Rose says as Josh leaves. I turn toward Rose and says" yes, what is wrong?" " i want to apologize and maybe try to be mates. " Rose says. " we can be a couple and mates and work everything out. " i say as I get up and hug Rose. After a few minutes, we break apart and she kisses my cheek as she turns to leave.
