It had been a week or two, since the previous incident that occurred at the Kuwonu residence, had happened

"Is Lauren okay Dinah?" Normani asked. Looking at her as they lied under each other watching Finding Nemo

"She's okay baby. I promise. She'll be released from the hospital Thursday, okay?" Dinah grinned at her.

Normani smiled weakly, "okay"

Dinah tilted her head at Normani to where she could see her better.

"What's wrong?"

"It's my fault" Normani sniffled

"What? No it isn't-"

"Yes it is, Lauren wouldn't be in there. If I listened to you-if I left like you told me to" Normani said

Dinah looked at her worryingly, "baby, it's not your fault. I promise" Dinah said as she ran her fingers through Normani's curls

Normani smiled at Dinah weakly, "I love you"

Dinah smiled as well as she wiped one of Normani's tears that had fallen, "I love you more my queen"

They both turned their attention back to Finding Nemo

Dinah had gotten a message

"Dinah?" Normani said as dinah looked downward and picked up her phone

Dinah hummed in response as she typed away on her phone

"Do you think Nemo misses his mom? Even though he never really met her?"

Dinah didn't respond

"Babe?"

No response

Normani adjusted herself so she could look at Dinah

"Dinah? You don't hear me talking to you?" She said as she looked at Dinah, who was highly fascinated with her device

"Dinah!? What the hell are you doing?" Normani said as she snatched Dinah's phone from her

"Normani! What the hell are you doing?" Dinah said reaching at her phone.

"Did you not hear me talking to you?"

"No! Normani I didn't. Can I have my phone back?"

Normani looked at her weirdly, "No Dinah"

"I've been talking to you for the past 5 minutes Dinah Jane! Who the hell are you texting?" Normani said as she looked down at the phone

Dinah quickly tried to snatch her phone away

Zendaya😊✨: Yea what time will you be coming over?

Dinah: Around 6 or 7🤔I have to see if Normani is leaving first

Normani looked at Dinah, "so this was your lame ass excuse for you saying you're going back to your moms? Seriously?"

Dinah shook her head, "it's nothing-"

Normani shook her head, "No, it is something. If it wasn't something then why'd you lie to me?"

"Because I actually was going to my moms"

"Then why the hell did you have to make sure 'I left first'?! Dinah what the fuck?!" 

Dinah grabbed Normani's hands, "baby. Nothing is going on-"

"Then why'd you lie to me? Why'd you say you have to make sure I was gone?" Normani said as she stood up
