*few hours later*
Dr. Lee walks in.
"Hi.. how are you guys doing? I'm so sorry we had to break the news to you."
"I'm feeling a little better now. With Tae here by my side. You as well, I have faith in you Dr. Lee, I know you will help me overcome this battle."
"Of course! My team and I will definitely try our best and we will take care of you!." Dr. Lee kindly smiles.
Taehyung is really worried inside but he will always have a smile for his baby, Y/N.
"We will be starting chemotherapy treatment soon."
You look at Tae. Your precious hair will be gone.
"You'll still look good even if your bald." Tae says.
You smile.
"In approximately 1 week, we will start treatment. In the mean time, we will be setting up everything else. I know this is difficult information to handle. Some patients may become depressed. Would you like us to assign a therapist for you while you are in the hospital?"
You think to yourself.
You already struggle with depression.
You decide you will challenge yourself and remain positive.
After all, Dr. Lee is one of the best doctors out there.
Taehyung will be visiting every now and then making you happy.
"No, no, I'm fine. Thankyou so much."
"Wow, I'm loving the positive attitude Y/N!"
"Yes! I have faith I'll get through this battle."

*1 week later*
10:00 am
Nurse Alex walks in.
"Hello, Y/N! How are you doing?"
"Good morning! I'm feeling great, and yourself?"
"Oh I'm doing fine." she smiles.
"Y/N, today is the big day. We will be starting your first treatment of chemo today!"
"Ahh yes..The big day."
You start to remember your mother and her first day of chemo.
"How long will I be on this treatment for?"
"Ah, well it depends. Right now, we are looking at about a year, not too long. It may vary. If the cancer gets worse, we may have to add another year or two of treatment, which we hope doesn't happen."
"Ahh.. I see. That's not very long actually."
Nurse Alex begins to gather her equipment.
"So, Y/N. What we will be doing is we are going to hook you up to this device. I will be sticking a needle in you every time this bag runs out of medicine. Slowly but surely, I'm sure you've heard, you will begin to lose your hair. No worries though, It will grow back eventually, It's only hair."
"Oh yes, I have heard about that. I was wondering actually, can we shave my head first?"
You didn't want hair all over your bed everyday serving as a constant reminder of what your going through.
"Of course! Many patients ask for that. I think it's a great idea."
"Thankyou so much!"
Nurse Alex walks out the door.
She comes back 3 minutes later with a razor.
"Are you ready?"
