We need to survive

Previously

I decided to put the weapons back where it belonged.  Everyone surrounded the entry to the maze where Minho had ran into.

Minho was just steps away helping Alby. They all cheered him on.

Then I realised he wasn't going to make it.  

With the bag I ran into the maze to help him. They all tried stopping me.

We were so close.

"Go back!" Minho yelled.

"No we can make it." I said

The doors began closing. I wondered why nobody dared to come and help.

As Minho pushed me away and towards the small gap left me and Thomas collided I knocked my head against the wall of the maze.

The last thing I saw from back at the camp was Newt's facial expression.  He was sad.

The doors shut.

And I blacked out.

"She's walking up." I heard Thomas say.

"She has to now because the maze is about to change and we need to move." I heard Minho say.

"Did one of the med-jacks give her this?" I heard Thomas ask.

Raised my head and saw Minho and Thomas along with an unconscious Alby.  Thomas had the syringe in his hand.

I grabbed it an put it in the bag.

"Wasn't that in..." I cut Minho off.

"Yes and these." I said showing Minho what was in the bag.

Then I heard thing move.

"Let's move. These walls are rearranging." Minho said.

"What?" I asked.

"Every night the maze rearranges itself. We need to get moving if we don't want the Grievers to get to us." Minho said, I nodded.

"Each of us take a knife. Thomas, you and Nivona help Alby." Minho instructed. I nodded although I was frightened.

Me and Thomas helped Alby and Minho guided us through the maze.

"You know you shouldn't of came into the maze." Thomas said.

"I know but it felt like I needed to help and I needed to see the maze I just don't know." I said.

"So what's going on with you and Gally?" Thomas asked.

"We didn't really speak today. I was busy so I didn't really have time to talk to him" I said.

"So there is something between you and Gally?" Thomas asked.

"Me and Gally? Me and Gally. Are you being serious Thomas? He's like a brother to me." I said laughing a bit.

Gally's POV (when Nivona fell off he hammock)

I saw Newt rush to a body on the ground. The person on the ground was Nivona.

Why was she on the ground?

She grabbed Newt and rapped her arms tightly around him.

What's wrong with Nivona?

I made my way over to her and Newt.

"It's okay.  Calm down." He softly whispered into her ear.

"Hey what's going here on?" I asked quite serious.

I wasn't jealous of Newt. I just felt protective over her. Without her knowing I always made sure she was safe.

Before the walls closed, I looked if she was inside camp.
Before the sun went down, I looked if she was here.

"I don't know.  She just rolled out of her hammock and began crying." Newt said.

"Did greenie get hurt rolling out of her hammock?" I teased Nivona.

Nivona let go of Newt and ran her fingers through her hair.

"No, it's not that." She said wiping my tears away.

"What is it then?" Newt asked.

"Something else." She said and gave us a small smile before walking off.

I wanted to see if she was alright but she was probably going to get ready for today so I let her go.

"Hurt her and I will hurt you, kill you if I have to. Keep her safe." I said looking at Newt.

He was about to say something but I walked away leaving no time for him to talk.

Newt's POV (after Nivona and Thomas got stuck in the maze)

Why didn't she come back?

She's going to die along with Thomas.

They were dumb to do it.

"I said you had to keep her safe!" Gally yelled

"I tried alright. She was just to fast!" I yelled.

"And weren't you there!?" I yelled

That shut him up.

All night I layed in front of the doors of the maze waiting for the to return.

Waiting to hear her voice....
Waiting to see my friends....

I wish I just....
