Newt's POV (after Nivona and Thomas got stuck in the maze)

Why didn't she come back?

She's going to die along with Thomas.

They were dumb to do it.

"I said you had to keep her safe!" Gally yelled

"I tried alright. She was just to fast!" I yelled.

"And weren't you there!?" I yelled

That shut him up.

All night I layed in front of the doors of the maze waiting for the to return.

Waiting to hear her voice....
Waiting to see my friends....

I wish I just....

Nivona's POV

Hours passed and the sun hasn't risen yet. Helping Alby was tiering
but I couldn't complain since I had some help from Thomas.

"Do you hear that?" Thomas asked

I tried listening.

"Grievers." Minho said.

I looked at them with a shocked face.  I've never seen a Griever before.
The sound got closer and closer by every second.

"M..." I was cut off by Minho placing his finger on his lips showing that we had to be quiet.

I was getting nervous. We came to a three way. The Griever was to our left.

We decided on splitting up seeing as it was the best.

But before we did that I used my knife and carved a 'N' on the wall.

Minho went straight and Thomas, Alby and me went to the right.

Thomas came up with a brilliant idea to hide Alby away. We tied him using bine and put him up the wall so no Griever could see him or catch him.

I was too afraid to wonder if in the maze due to how frightened I was of it and the dream I had.

"We have to split up it's the best way we have of surviving." Thomas said.

He wasn't a Runner either. I nodded.

We split up. I wanted to break down bug I couldn't.

I wondered the maze for what seemed like years but in fact it was minutes. The same sound I heard earlier came into range...a Griever and the sound was so close by and if it was riigghhttt bbeehhiinndd mmeee

I turned around slowly and saw that it was a Griever and that it was a distance from me. I began running. It hasn't seen me yet but the loud footsteps if me running signaled to it that dinner was here.

I just ran, but this thing was fast.

I knew this thing was fast. It would obviously outrun me. Calculating at the speed it moved after its prey I would be outrun in seconds, so the only solutions it to take turns. Run through the maze taking random turns.

To my amazement I got away from it.

I just walked around the maze.

I heard the sound again from behind me I ran and looked to the back not taking note of where I'm going.

I ran into something and screamed and the thing screamed to.

We both fell due to the impact.

I stood up and saw a Griever, it was chasing Thomas, I helped him up and we ran.
