I looked at Newt and he saw me.

"How long you guys been here?" Newt asked.

"Not long just a day or two. That kid over there, he's been here the longest almost a week." The guy answered turning to a younger boy who was seated alone at a table. We all looked into the direction to see this boy.

"His maze was mostly girls." The other guy said.

We all turned our attention to the gym who just spoke.

"Oh, really?" Minho said.

"Some guys have all the luck." The guy said.

Then Janson walked in with a few men behind him.

"Good evening gentlemen... and ladies. You all know how this works. If you hear your name called please rise in an orderly fashion join my colleges behind me they gonna escort you to the Eastern Wing. Your new lives are about to begin." Janson said.

People began to applaud.

Janson soon began reading out names from a booklet.

Everyone began laughing.

"Alright settle down." Janson said.

The room quieted down and Janson continued reading out names.

And Abigail.

Janson closed his booklet. Many people looked sad except those who were picked.

"Now, now. Don't get discouraged if I could take more I would there's always tomorrow. Your time will come. Go on eat up." Janson said and him, his colleagues and the chosen ones walked away.

People applauded.

"Where they going?" Minho asked.

Thomas'POV

"Where they going?" Minho asked.

I felt someone behind me. I turned around.

I saw a girl walked up to us. She was tall and had brown hair and blue eyes, she looked somehow familiar. She put her hand on mine and Minho's shoulder.

Me, Minho, Winston and Newt turned to her.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I'm Teresa. No-one probably formed you about Nivona, but she's gone, never to return." The girl said.

We looked at her, is Nivona dead or did she escape. Probably the second option but she could be dead too. It would be devastating if she died especially for Newt.

I was about to say something but I was cut off by Teresa.

"Unfortunately she passed a few minutes after your check ups all of you had. I'm sorry Thomas but I need to go." Teresa said and quickly made her way out of the area all kids were in.

"Far from here." The guy said answering Minho's question and turned around facing us.

"Lucky bastards." He said, and turned his head and took one last glimpsed at those who were chosen, this guy didn't see Teresa.

"Some kinda home, a safe place. They can only take in a couple if few at a time." The other guy said.

I needed to talk to Teresa. How did she know my name and why did it feel like I've seen her before and know her? I've never seen her around here since we got here.
