Chapter 5: Prom?

Erika's POV:

Sunny- So...how was it!

Mackenzie- Tell us all the details!

Erika- Well...(tells them what happened)

Sunny- Awe you guys are so cute

I started to blush

Mackenzie- Look whose blushing!

S&M- (squeal)

Erika- Ok guys we should head to sleep

Sunny- Ok

We get ready for bed and go to our rooms.

Erika- GOODNIGHT

S&M- GOODNIGHT

A Few Months later

Still Erika's POV:

I'm so excited because prom is in 2 weeks! Hopefully Jake asks me. We've been going on more dates and I just love spending time with him. He's so generous and to be honest, pretty hot. I just hope he asks me...

Jake's POV:

Prom is in 2 weeks and I plan on asking Erika. We've been spending way more time together and I think she might have a crush in me too but that's just what I think. There's also another surprise I have for her but that's a secret. I get dressed and go to school and meet up with Erika at her locker.

Jake- Hey

Erika- Hey what's up

Jake- Nothing much I was just wondering if you would go on a date with me?

Erika- Oh really

I nod my head yes

Erika- Then yes, I would love to go on a date with you

Jake- Great I'll pick you up at 6:30 dress fancy but not too fancy

Erika- I sure will

The bell rings and they head to class 

Walking Home

Erika's POV:

Sunny, Mackenzie and I were walking home in an awkward silence which never happens so I just blurted it out.

Erika- I'M GOING ON A SPECIAL DATE WITH JAKE TONIGHT!

I cover my mouth

S&M- (gasp and squeal)

Mackenzie- Wait, did you say SPECIAL!

I nod my head yes. What's wrong with me? I face palm

S&M- aaaawwweee

Sunny- We have to help you get dressed. Let's go

I notice we're right outside my house and we head in. Sunny and Mackenzie are once again going through my closet looking for an outfit for my date. I lay on my bed

Erika- By the way, Jake said to dress fancy but not too fancy

They keep going through clothes until they find the perfect outfit. I changing into it and dang I look good.

It was only 4:50 so I sat on my bed scrolling through Instagram while Sunny and Mackenzie watch TV. 

Later

I hear a knock on the front door and of course it's Jake. I walk downstairs to open the door and see Jake.

Jake's POV:

Erika opened the door and gosh she looked beautiful. I handed her a bouquet of flowers I bought and we headed to a nice beach. When we got there, I surprised her with this:

Erika- Oh my gosh it's beautiful!

Jake- Anything for you

Erika- awe

We sat down and ate while conversing and laughing.

After They Ate

After we ate, we toke off our shoes, I rolled up my pants, and we started walking down the shore hand in hand. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now.

Erika- Jake I just wanted to say thank you for everything

Jake- It was no problem but the fun isn't over

Erika- (laughs) what are you talking about

We turn and are now face to face. I grab both of her hands and look into her eyes.

Jake- Erika, ever since the first day I laid my eyes on you, I knew you were a beautiful, kind-hearted woman and you still are. You are the only friend I have and since prom is coming,  Erika Michael Ann Costell, will you go to prom with me?

Erika's POV-

I couldn't believe my ears. Did Jake just ask me to be his prom date? I stood there frozen in shock but I finally built the guts to to reply.

Erika- Of course I would love to go to prom with you!

We hugged for a long time.(Haha got you, no kiss yet!)

After The Date

After Jake dropped me home, I went inside to find Sunny and Mackenzie still on that couch. I bite my lip remembering what just happened and walking up to them.

Mackenzie- ooo I see someone's in a good mood

Sunny- What happened between you two?

Erika- Let's just say I have a new prom date. 

I start walking upstairs as Sunny and Mackenzie look at each other in shock.
