Emotions are like a year. You start off with something that brings you joy. A new world of fun and laughter, the sun in your days lasting longer and longer until it's summer. The sun shines bright, the days are warm and full with pleasant memories. But the days begin to grow shorter. The light seems to fade and the nights grow longer. It's cold and the temperature keeps dropping to the point you're freezing and don't know what to do. Your happy land of dreams has fallen down just like the autumn leaves. Now there is no green leaves in the trees. Only bare branches not expressing a single emotion. The brain frozen without pain or feeling, wanting to hibernate and get life over with. Then comes spring, and slowly but surely, the light begins to shine once more.
