The minute you think everything is going to be ok, it all goes sideways. On your date with Tom, the paparazzi spots you two and shoots some pictures of you together. Luckily not kissing ones but it's still bad. The tabloids are now full with gossip about Tom and his potential new girlfriend. One line that you read especially catches your attention. 'The girl, who seems a lot younger than the actor...' It's not a bad sentence over all but it still stings. What do they mean with this? Is it meant to be a sarcastic snarl his way or your way? Or is it just an assumption that they state. Knowing the media, they'll do everything to put you into a bad light, causing thousands of fans to hate you although they would kill to stand in your shoes.
Tom doesn't know about the tabloids yet but how do you tell him? He tried so hard to keep this all private for your well-being.

You come back from the restroom with your phone in your hand. You always like to read the news when you're on the toilet. You don't know why, it's to kill time I guess. 'Tom?' You begin, sitting down at your table again, shoving your phone over to his. 'This was posted two minutes ago.' News from your favourite actor would always pop up first when you open the app. 'Oh my god.. {y/n}. I'm terribly sorry! I never wanted this for you.' His sweet and slightly sad voice tells you. 'It's not your fault, Tom. We took a risk by showing ourselves in public. It was bound to happen one day. I'm still surprised for how long we have kept it secret.' You softly chuckle and grab his hand, assuring him it's ok. 'It's not ok, darling. You now have a target on your back. And trust me on that, that's horrible!' Of course it is but you chose this life. 'I don't know what you're trying to do here but if you think I'll walk away from you now, you have it all backwards. I'm not going anywhere. I'm carrying your child for crying out loud! I can't deny you your child and I don't want to do that either.' You feel anger rising a little bit but you calm yourself quickly. You don't want to cause a scene in the restaurant. That would be a stupid thing to do. He takes your hand gently in his and rubs the back of it gently with his thumb. 'You're amazing! And brave considering the situation. But I love you for it.' He smiles, shoving your phone back while lifting your hand up to his lips, softly pressing a kiss on your soft skin. You watch at the scene before you. He is so gentle and sweet and you just feel so lucky.

After your lovely dinner together, you take a stroll down the park. It's absolutely wonderful. He has his arm wrapped around you while the other is in the pocket of his pants. You also have an arm wrapped around him. You stare up at the sky, seeing the countless amount of stars decorating the beautiful dark blue sky, There is no cloud in sight, which is rare where you're from. 'It's such a beautiful night! Thank you for spending it with me.' You smile and press a tender kiss on his lips. 'I don't want to be anywhere else.' He swoons you with his words like only he can do. You take him back towards your apartment and prepare a cup of tea for the both of you. You grab the blanket out of your closet and join him on the couch after getting the tea as well. He snuggles close against you, wrapping the blanket around the both of you and handing you your cup to then just relax and talk about the baby.

'You want to keep it, right?' He asks to which you respond with a nod. 'Yes. It's our child and it's growing inside of me. I don't think I have it in me to just put him or her up for adoption.' You say and he agrees with you. 'Thank goodness. I want nothing more than to have this with you, love. I don't think I was going to just accept it if you wanted to put it up for adoption.' You chuckle and tell him you would have liked to see that discussion. You sigh happily as a comfortable silence falls and you rest your head against him while closing your eyes. The warmth of his body feels nice and cozy against yours and the blanket is lying comfortably around you while the steam of the cup of tea fills your nostrils with a lovely scent. This is what true happiness feels like.

But it's for short notice when the buzzer goes off. It indicates that someone is at the front door of the building and it needs you to open up. A bit disappointed you leave your warm and safe spot to go take a look at who's at your door. 'Hello?' You say through the intercom. There is no camera so you can't actually see who's there. '{Y/n}? It's your parents. Please let us in! We need to talk.' Now they want to talk? 'I don't think it's a good time now. I have company.' You explain but they aren't buying it. 'It's Tom, isn't it? That's good. We need to talk to him too.' Your father says calmly but again, you don't feel like talking. 'Can't you come back tomorrow? I don't want to kill the mood with arguing.' You lean your forehead against the wall while speaking. 'Let us in, {y/n}. We don't want our situation to escalate, do we? You glare at Tom who is sending an assuring nod your way. You know that he won't let it go into the wrong way. The devastating way. 'Alright. But only if you promise not to yell at any of us.' You sigh and at first they protest but they know that you're being serious so they give you their word. 'Come in.' You press the button so the door opens downstairs. This will be much fun.
