How can you
explain to someone
who was never
abused

moments die,
but memories
d o n ' t ? !

-toxicity of memories, Hiraya.

Those abused who find this book, specifically this part, this is for you.

Abuse, in all of its forms, damages us more than anything else. It destroys the shelter we call home. It destroys ourselves, our image, our bodies, our self-worth and most importantly our personalities. What's worse?! That's all what a person can own.

However, even if the abuse leaves a mark, an unhealed scar. It's alright. Everything is alright because we are meant to learn. We are meant to be tested.

Because when life throws stones at you, remember that it's teaching you how to defend yourself and defeat.

We are meant to learn to not be the abusers. We are meant to learn to stand for ourselves against the abusers. We are meant to learn that we are worth the fight. We are worth the battle. We deserve to be happy after all of this.
We deserve to feel alive.

That's when our real struggle begins. It's the struggle of loving ourselves enough (even after all the self-hate we recieved) to make ourselves happy.

Because, we deserve to be happy.
We deserve to break free.

We deserve the peace with ourselves
before having it with anyone else.
