Your Pov

You were contently laying on your front lawn, looking up at the clouds. You hadn't been able to sleep the past few days, so you soon felt your eyes grow heavy with tiredness. Sleep over came you with ease. When you awoke, you were no longer on the grassy bed you had originally fallen asleep on.

You found yourself on a soft bed, much like yours. Wait a minute... This was your bed! There was soft humming to your right, and you glanced in that direction to see Mist, your best friend.

"Mist...?" Your voice was groggy and your throat yelled at you. She turned in your direction and beamed her signature smile at you. You had always felt at ease around Mist, she just had a calming affect on you. You were driven away from your thoughts when the other girl spoke up. "We found you asleep on the front yard. So we decided to carry you back inside!" She exclamied.

You smiled back at her, but was soon overtaken by curiousity. "We?" You pondered aloud. "Me and Rolf, silly!" She said as though it was the simplest thing in the world.

It was only then did you feel the other presence in the room with you two. And of course it had to be none other than Rolf. You two had been friends for awhile, but you thought you were beginning to fall for the boy. Although you would've never admitted it.

A light blush fell upon your cheeks and you turned away from the green-haired boy. Unbeknownst to you, Mist gave Rolf a knowing look and then left the room so you two could be alone.

"Y/N..." Rolf began but then paused, not knowing quite how to say what he needed to. Instead, he came over to you and sat on the bed. "Y/N," He said again, "What's been going on with you? You haven't been sleeping at all, you don't come have dinner with us, and you rarely come out of your room anymore!" He exclaimed, raising his voice a bit.

You stayed silent, letting the boy express his feelings. Once he had calmed down a bit, he continued. "We're all worried about you. Me and Mist especially. I thought we were your friends..." He said and then looked down. You couldn't hold yourself back.

"I can't sleep at all because you're not beside me to help me sleep at night! I don't have dinner with you anymore because I know you'll be there! I don't come out of my room because I know you will want to hang out with me! I'm afraid to be around you because I'm falling in love with you Rolf!" You nearly shouted at him, letting out all of the feelings you had been hiding.

He was left speechless as his mouth hung open for a few moments. But his mouth soon turned up into a joyful smile. "So, the feeling is mutual then?!" He asked cheerfully.

It took you a few moments to swallow what he just said. "You... Like me too...?" You asked, your voice quiet.

"Of course!" He exclaimed and hugged you. Despite yourself, you hugged back. He soon pulled away and placed a small peck on your lips. "Y/N." He said, looking straight into your eyes. "Yes?" You asked, looking back into his.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked, hope filling his eyes. Tears of happiness nearly fell from your eyes, which was weird for you since you rarely showed you emotions.

But nonetheless, you nodded at the boy you would be spending the rest of your life with.
