I found out that he was performing tonight as well and I anticipated. Was his voice going to be as soothing as the gods ringing the bells in heaven, or was it going to be deep and scary enough to scare away the demons in hell?

"Now welcoming Kim Namjoon with his poem called 'Tear', everyone give him a welcoming hand." Kim Namjoon, the name wrote itself on the slate of memories I was to keep forever. He got up on stage and I watched as he took center stage.

"Goodbyes open up to me."

At this point his voice had already ruptured my soul, my very being, my will to live.

"Without knowing, blood comes into my eyes
Things I can't say flow through
Lingering feelings crawl on top of my face
At one point, you were my dear
But now, it's just bitter, this beer
My heart is stained with self-hate
that's too late
It gets cut even by the passing wind
This goodbye came to me at the end of my play
That was only filled with lies
That's the price I'll pay
If someone could turn time back
Maybe I could've become more honest
With my bare face that only I know of
With my long-time friends inside that are ugly and miserable."

Once he finished, he gave a bow and quietly got off stage. I felt so overwhelmed, like I could cry, he remined me of myself, an old me, a lonely me, a sad me... a me without him.
