Is It worth it? (Connor) - Maggie

Here you go Maggie!

The feeling of seeing your boyfriend out with his ex on your birthday can be a little hurtful. You know what, more than a little.

It all started with me waking up alone. No one was home not one note saying happy birthday. But I let it slide thinking that he had a surprise.

I check my phone seeing that a lot of my friends and family have already texted me saying happy birthday so I of course text them back thanking them. I then get loads of notifications from Twitter and Instagram from Manor fans (you guys ship name) saying happy birthday to you and hoping you had a great day.

I knew Conor had to go to the Awesomeness TV set today and that he'll be home by 12:30 so I was hoping that he'll at least say something then. It was about 9 in the morning so I called my friend asking if she wanted to go on a short mall visit and she was all for it.

I wore a normal is boring crop top with faded jeans since it is March 12 and it's a little cool and some black vans. I then straighten my red hair and just pulled the front two pieces and tied them together in the back with a black emi jay (the little hair ties with a knot.) For makeup I just wore some silver eye shadow to bring out my hazel green eyes, contoured my face, and put on some eos. By the time I was done with everything Amber, my friend (you can switch it out if you want) was here.

"Happy Birthday!" she practically screamed when I just opened the door.

"Thanks. Also thanks for taking away my hearing."

"Ha - ha very funny. Where's Connor?"

"Studio. He left early this morning."

"Did he at least wish you a happy birthday?" She asked growing concerned. I mean it's normal for someone not to tell you happy birthday before they leave. Right?

"No." I sighed.

"Sorry babe. But now it's you and me. Lets go had fun."

We shopped till about 12:30 I wanted to see if Connor was home and Amber had to go to a family function. But when we pulled up he wasn't here. We said our good byes and when I entered everything was like it was when I left.

I just went to the living room and went to twitter. When I got on the hashtag WhataboutManon was trending. Worldwide. I tapped on it and it was filled with Connor having lunch with his ex which I absolutely despise.

I knew it was from today cause he was wearing the vans and jacket I got him over the weekend. Which made me even more livid. All I did was wrote out a tweet saying Thank you for all the birthday wishes now if only my one wish will come true. I then just closed the app and turn on Netflix and watch Orange is the New Black for the rest of the day.

Around 7 he comes home looking all happy like a kid that just won a goldfish at the fair.

"Hey babe." he says not seeing how I look.

I just ignore him and continue watching tv.

"What's wrong."

Not a single word comes out.

"What did I do?"

I just look at him and then turn my attention back towards the tv. I really was not in the mood for him right now.

But too give him a hint I got up to the kitchen and went to get a slice of cake my mom had dropped off today cause she was going on a business trip for a week and wanted to do something for me.

And it clearly said Happy Birthday Maggie on it so if he didn't notice I will literally grab a frying pan and knock some sense into that kid.

"Oh shit" I heard him mutter.

"Oh shits right."

"I'm sorry for forgetting. I was just so busy today and I know that's not an excus-"

"You literally think it's about that?"

"Well what else would it be about?"

"Oh I don't know you having lunch with your ex who's been so rude to me before!"

"It was just a simple lunch!"

"Then why in the hell did you have your hand jacked up her thigh. Cause I clearly don't palm my friends when I'm out to lunch with them."

"I was just calming her down from her recent breakup! Can you not trust me?!"

"I used too but now I probably don't cause earlier you lied to my face."

"Maggie stop being so needy and a bitch and let me explain myself."

That sent me over the edge.

"You know what I don't need this."

I just grabbed me keys and left for Ambers house. Don't worry Amber has called me and told me that she wasn't busy and if I needed anything to just come over.

I tried to keep my tears in and all I was thinking was did I over react? I know that it was just friendly but it hurt a lot. He knows how rude she is too me.

I pulled in and walked in cause she lives alone and we're basically sisters.

"Amber?"

I think I scared her cause I heard a thud then running. oops

"Oh my god you scare- What happened?!"

"Me and Connor got into a fight about something."

"Tell me."

I told her everything from finding out on twitter to the last word we said to each other. After that I just cried my eyes out. Being the awesome friend she is she went out and got ice cream and chick flicks and that night we just pigged out. Well at least I did.

After the third movie I crashed out and slept like a log and then later woke up around 12 noon. To a knock at the door. At the couch you can see the driveway... and the only car there is mine.

When I opened the door Connor was standing there. Crying.

"Maggie I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said the things I said. Please forgive me."

"Connor I don-"

"Maggie. Listen. I know I screwed up and I feel like beating myself up for it. Please I don't know what I'd do if you didn't forgive me."

"I don't know."

"Please." Now he's full on water works. All I want to do is grab for him and calm him down but I need to have a back bone.

Then I start crying. Why? I don't know. But I was balling.

"C- Connor I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault. It's mine and I'm sorry for being a total douche. Why don't we start over. Okay?"

"Okay." (I'm sorry I had too.)

"Hi my names Connor."

"Maggie."

Sorry it took so long and the ending is bad. I just didn't know how to end it without making it go by too fast and too have the big part the fight.
