•69 (rant+art)

Holly fuck you do not know the struggle I have to draw . My art style disgusts me . Everything about it just isn't appealing to me. The colors , the line art , the lack of shading / highlights. It bothers me .

I've tried to change it a bit (by doing line art the way I do now.) but it didn't help , yes at first I loved it! Especially with the fan art of Eliza ! But then slowly I started hating it

Heck in the last pages of "my mistake" the line art changed like what 3 times because I was so disgusted by it and it didn't fit the tone of it . But I didn't bother starting over because I was so tired of working on it for hours and i just wanted to get it out for you guys as soon as possible , yet the out come looked lazy , it looked disgusting , the backgrounds were inconstant, even their hair/ outfits.

I don't know how to change it or how to make it better for myself . Fuck I sound like a whiny brat .

I've spent two hours on two drawings that look like it took 30 minutes . All my drawings take 3-2 hours because I'm always changing the sketch , trying ways to make it look appealing . Yet it doesn't work so I stick to my normal line art .

And the thing is i WANT to change it , I can't bring my self to do it because I am scared . Scared that I'll be ripping off another style , scared that you guys won't like it . Yeah I love my sketches ! They're perfect the way they look give the perfect tone of the drawing ! Exactly the way I want it ! But when I start line art it,, just turns out terrible and the whole tone disappears.

I don't know what's wrong with me . Wether it's because of the current state my mentality is at. Or because my art style just disgusts me .

Either way I've tried to new ways , line art and coloring wise . I don't know how to feel about this but again I've spent two hours on this . Plus and old drawing I actually liked with my current style

Okay I kinda like this one , the streak in her hair and the line art is something I love . But I don't know about the shading since I rushed on it >.<

I like this one a lot , I like the concept of the line art being sketch like :0 and the eyes idk , I hate them . But I'm okay with everything else .

I just love this one because of how well the line art blends with the colors . Of course I won't choose a chibi-ish style . But this is how I want my art to look! The color colors math with each other and god I love it . But I can't make something like this again with out hating it .

I'm sorry this is long this is something I've been think about for with a while .
