ANGST WARNING

"The string of fate! it's a red string that connects you to your soul mate, it saves us from heart break and suffering. some like to look for where our string connects to but others wait till they're old enough. only you and your soul mate can see your string!" the teacher continued talking as i looked at my string . I followed the string and saw it just wrapped around me "but ma'am mine just wraps around me"
everyone got silent and looked at me the teachers eyes widen and her draw dropped 'ah- i'm sure it's just tangled robin~ no need to worry"

so i believed her, but deep down i knew i didn't have a soul mate . for years I pretended that my string was attached to someone and claimed i was waiting for that right time . I was alone and didn't understand anyone at all.

"You're robin right?" a girl with red hair and a yellow streak walked up to me as i was covered in my family's blood "I- I know how it feels to be neglected and afraid. we can clean up this mess and make it seem like you didn't do it. i'll take you in and you can meet Luna, she's heard a LOT about you and I'm sure you two will find something in common~•" she smiled at me and hugged me , it took me by surprise as i felt my eyes tear up .

i haven't felt this emotion before. is this what they call fear ? pain ? my grip on her tightened as she comforted me , it's like she knew what happened to me , how my parents treated me "you're strong Robin." I gasped a little "you're just like Luna. her string doesn't connect." I smiled and sighed "i'm glad i'm not alone anymore."

she laughed with me and headed me a mouth scarf  "here , we've been scouting you for a while and i'd think you'd be perfect for our gang. our mark is a X , we're getting rid of terrible people . you're parents , they were on my list and you stole my job but that's fine~"

years later my string is still wrapped around me , luna and ace , we don't have a soul mate and we don't mind that, as long as we have each other we're fine. some part of me wished my string would connect to one of theirs but the other part is glad there are people with no soul mate.
i accepted it and so have they. even though deep down i feel alone and sad that i won't ever find love but i'm working on it .

"Oi robin you spaced out for a bit are you okay?" Luna inches away from my face asked me "yes, i'm fine Luna" i smiled and played with my string "lets get going."

ahhh i haven't written anything a while so i'm a bit rust ;^; but i was planning on Robins string connecting and her finding out who to it connects to but I was going to leave it on a cliff hanger but i didn't want to leave you hanging~ 

Robin's backstory was my favorite to make and she's my favorite one to draw sinces she so mysterious :p i can't wait to get into each of the skulls gangs backstorys~
