CHAPTER SIXTY FIVE
Five Kage Summit
_________________________

"You want me to go with you to crash the Five Kage Summit?" Kana repeats his words back to Obito with a raised eyebrow. He clearly nods his head.

"That is exactly what I am ordering you to do." he clarifies.

"Why?" she questions.

"Because that is where I shall declare the Fourth Great Ninja War, and I need them to know that I am not simply fooling around, and that I have the most powerful living woman on my side."

"Flattery will get you everywhere." she smirks.

Obito chuckles. "I would also like to inform you that my intention of bringing up Izumi a while ago was not to break you and Itachi apart. In fact, it was to test your love for one another. I can't afford to have a couple fighting for me in the war if they are only going to distract and drag each other down." his eye darts to her left hand. "Congratulations on the engagement, Mrs Uchiha." he gives a kind nod.

"Thank you, Obito." a genuine smile spreads across her face, while looking at the boy she grew up with. It's still slightly strange being around him now, knowing who he actually is.

"Madara." he corrects sternly.

"Whatever." she rolls her eyes.

He stares at her. "You were so innocent and kind when you were young."

"Oh, spare me the trip down memory lane. I grew up. So did you." she gestures to him.

"I suppose you are right. Now then, let's go. I'll race you there." Obito cheekily challenges.

Kana howls with laughter. "You're on."

As they teleport through time, they both experience a concerning sensation; of a strong chakra about to be completely demolished. Kana leaves the situation it up to Obito, and heads straight for the Summit.

Kana and Obito appear before the Kage in a split second. With Obito carrying an unconscious, battered Sasuke slung over his shoulder.

Kana's eyes dart over to Sasuke. Damn, he's looking real rough.

"I am Madara Uchiha." they all immediately stare at the two Akatsuki members with caution. "I am here to explain something to you all, and once you understand it, I will ask you a question." Madara speaks clearly.

"What is it?" the Raikage barks loudly.

"It's about my plan... Project Tsuki no Me." he declares.

"It seems the Hokage has fled, all thanks to Sasuke." the Raikage observes before speedily leaping off the ground towards Madara.

His body flares with lightning and he tries to punch his target, however, his attack goes straight through him.

As he bounded through the air, the Raikage looked over at Kana whose bright eyes were watching his every lighting fast move.

Any normal person can't track his quick movements.

Kana flashes behind Madara, so once the Raikage gets through, he is faced with her. She smacks her leg into his side and he unexpectedly collides with the stone wall.

Nobody expected her slim leg to send the beastly Raikage anywhere further than a meter away. But it did, and she did it with ease.

"Stay alert. The girl with him, is Kana Namikaze." Gaara warns the others in the room, the ones that haven't met her in person before.

The Raikage jumps out of the hole in the wall unharmed while Madara sucks Sasuke in through his visual prowess, probably sending him somewhere safe.

"Anything Akatsuki is bad news." Lord Raikage states. "Return Sasuke right now!" he demands.

"That will depend on your response to what I'm about to tell you." Madara cranes his head to look at him.

The Tsuchikage flies to be beside the Raikage and pauses for a moment. "Calm down, Raikage. Let's hear him out... and take it from there." the old man speaks calmly.

"So, that's what Madara's ability is." Kankuro speaks of his observations regarding Madara's space time travel jutsu.

"It's the transportation technique." Temari responds before glancing up at Kana. "Why are you here, Kana?" she asks. Her and her siblings know Kana well from the days when she resided in the Leaf Village.

"Just following orders, Temari. How are the sand siblings doing, hm?" Kana stands with her hand on her hip, looking down on everyone.

Madara stands beside Kana. "Now, are all of you finally prepared to listen?" he asks the Kage before him.

"First, tell us, why are you trying to win over Sasuke?" Gaara questions.

"Sharingan that actually acquire the Susanoo are quite rare. I like to stock up on good eyes. By battling the five Kage, he'd hone his visual prowess even further. Which is exactly why I sent him here. I was hoping to weaken the five Kage and take at least some of you hostage, but I guess that was too much to ask." Madara explains further.

The Mizukage speaks up. "Take us hostage? What ever for?"

"To ensure that Project Tsuki no Me was implemented smoothly." he replies.

"I am truly surprised that the infamous Madara Uchiha is still alive. But I'm confused, why do you of all people need to use such roundabout tactics? With all your power, you should be able to bring any plan to fruition easily." the Tsuchikage questions.

"My injuries from my battle with the First Hokage, Hashirama, were too severe. I currently have little power. I am but a shell of my former self."

One of the Raikage's right hand boy's say, "Oh, I get it. Then this plan of yours is to restore your power. Is that it?"

"Hm. I suppose you could say that. But there's so much more to it." Madara answers.

"What are you scheming? Exactly what is this Project Tsuki no Me?" the old man asks.

"It'll be a long story, so, I'll need to sit down. Come, Kana. Be seated, too." Madara states.

"A Namikaze and Uchiha in the flesh." the Tsuchikage comments with slight head shake of disbelief.

Kana takes a seat down on the ground beside Madara.

"That's enough! Just tell us! What kind of plan is it!?" Kankuro bursts out after finally running out of patience.

"It's very rude to yell at people, Kankuro." Kana scolds as she looks over at him.

Madara raises his finger in the air. "All shall become one with me. In a complete possession form that unites all."
