For context, this happens the next morning before school. I play Damian and my friend plays Janis.

Janis is sat on the same bench as before with a sketchbook.

Damian sees her and kind of loiters, enjoying watching her concentration. He looks a little nervous.

She doesn't see him at first, focused on her drawing.

He walks closer and taps her shoulder.

She jumps a little before looking up and realising it's just Damian.
J: Ah! Oh...hey.

D: Oh, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to frighten you.

J: No, I-I wasn't looking.

D: What are you working on?

J: A drawing. A portrait of... my new home, sort of.
*She's drawing space.*

D: Ah... I see... Why are you drawing sad things?

J: Space isn't that sad. Just... empty.
J: I find it easier to draw things with meaning. Deep and powerful.
J: I pour more emotion into it.

D: That sounds like a good summary for many things. I'm more of a surface level person, I guess. I'm not that interesting.

J: Well, what do you like?

D: Theatre! Singing and dancing and acting.

J: Well, that doesn't sound like you're not too interesting.
J: I'd never do it.
J: Especially not now.

D: Aw, J...
D: Most people say I'm weird and uncool and should like male things.

J: Most people say I should play sports or something stupid like that.
J: Instead of sitting around doodling.

D: No! Stick with art!

J: Male things are dumb.

D: True.
D: Er, Janis....?

J: Yeah?

D: I was gonna say something, but no, it's just weird.

J: What?
J: Tell me.

D: Promise you won't laugh.

J: I'll try....

D: Er....
D: Well, I had some money left from Christmas.

J: And?

He pulls out his rucksack and rummages through it.
D: *mumbles* Why did I ever think she'd like it? She's cool and I'm... me.

J: What did you say?

D: J...

J: Show me! Show me!

D: I know it's weird, but I bought you something....
D: It's not much, don't worry.

J: Aww, that's sweet.
J: Show me! Show me!

D: But it's weird. They didn't have a good one, it's not even relevant.
*pulls out friendship necklaces and shoves them in her hands*

She reads what they say.
J: Big sister.... Little sister....

D: I'm sorry, Janis, it's crazy.

She chuckles a little.
J: That's really all they had?

D: Yeah.
D: I shouldn't have.... I'll take them back.

J: No, wait!
J: I'll keep it.... as long as I can be the big sister.
*puts the necklace on before he even agrees*
*takes her half of the heart and touches it to his half*
