"I beg your pardon?" Edgar turned his head to face Lydia, with sad eyes.
"I-i- uhm" Lydia couldn't bear the thought of her saying, she wanted him. Instead she grabbed Edgars arm, and took hold of his sleeve.
"Lydia..." Edgar steals a glance at the now blushing Lydia, she looked so adorable Edgar wanted to hold her right there.
"can we just stay like this?"
Edgar leaned down and cupped Lydia's chin, and slowly but carefully approached her face. Lydia squinted her eyes expecting. kiss from him.
"no"
she felt nothing on her lips, nothing on her face. "Edgar?"
"I won't do anything until your heart desires for it"
"Edgar...." Lydia wanted it, she wanted him to kiss her
She wanted him to hold her tenderly in his arms, and start talking about nonsense, and life. Their future.
It felt incredibly lonely, after awhile. They spoke to each other, but skinship at this point was out of the question. If only she could be honest with her feelings - but she can't.
