Geoffrey gets up from the couch and stands tall. He hands me his hand and I take it. "Listen, Nicole. I know you've been hurt before. I feel the vibe you're sending and it's making me sad. Guys, we're stupid! Well, not all of us. My point is, there is someone for you. Honestly, I want to be that someone. I don't want to see you like this anymore. I want to help mend your broken heart. I want to be the one to put a smile on your face, whenever you are sad. I have the urge of wanting to be with you and holding you tightly. I don't want to be the idiot who lost you because they're too childish to handle all of the woman you are," he said, hugging me tight.
So tight, that I could barely move. "Okay," I say trying to move away but failing. "If I tell you that I'd like that, will you let me go?" "Absolutely." "Geo, I'd like that." He loosens his hold of me and I continue, "Please show me that not every guy is the same. I'm begging you." "I'd be more than honored to." "However, there is ONE condition!" "Anything! Let me know!" "We're taking everything SLOW. I just want to make sure that nothing gets ruined between us." "Of course! For you, I'd willingly do anything. That's the truth. Now, come on, I don't know about you, but I'm starving! How about we get something to munch on and a few movies to enjoy the night?"
