i lay back on my bed and sighed.
what had i done?
i waited constantly waiting
for a reply but nothing came. not
even a message from josh asking
if i'm okay. nothing came.
a quiet knock tapped on my door
making me jump and sit up
right in my bed quicker than i had
ever done anything in my life.
the door nob turned and a shadow appeared. as it came closer, they
became clearer and noticeable.
he sat onto my bed and looked at
me. there were mixed emotions
displayed on his face. confusion.
fear. happiness. i had no idea which
was strongest.
i flicked on the lamp perched on the
bedside table.
" hey. harvey. well. all i can say is - "
i started but before i could finish,
he lent towards me and pressed his
lips against mine.
he pulled away and stared into
my eyes. nothing had felt so right.
" harvey? "
" i like you tess "
