Part 10: The Order of Pure Blood

YN's POV
I was currently worrying while speed walking through the halls, I was trying to find Velvet. I hadn't seen her all day and since our talk about The Order and my last talk with Nero I've been constantly worried about her. My last talk with Nero was about two weeks ago and I haven't heard from The Order since which is both comforting and strangely one of the scarier parts of this entire situation. I was walking down the halls and found Yatsuhashi near the entrance of the library "Hey" I called and he seemed to get nervous

"Umm G-greetings YN" he said

"Hey have you seen Velvet today?" I asked

"Umm N-No I haven't"

"You ok Yatsu, you seem nervous?"

"I-I'm quite fine YN but umm I appreciate the concern" he said trying to blow it off

I stepped a little closer "Yatsuhashi... Where's Velvet?"

"I-I don't know"

"You sure?" I said getting closer

"C-Completely" he said

"Well thanks for the conversation" I said as I slid in between his arm and his torso now that I was close enough and came out on the other side of him and ran to the library he seemed to be defending as he chased after me

I ran in and saw Velvet holding a pile of books looking for a couple others. She was wearing one of my red hoodies and Black pants. I walked up to her and she seemed to get nervous "Hey Bunny" I said as I waved and walked up

"Oh ummm H-Hey YN" she said

I placed one hand on each side of her face and planted a soft kiss on her lips. Once I separated from the kiss I felt a weird residue on my hand I looked down and it was maybe some kind of makeup. I stared at her and took one finger and brushed across that cheek removing a layer of makeup and as I did so Velvet winced. It revealed a purple bruised marking on her cheek and once I noticed this her ears drooped slightly and tears began to slowly drop down her face.

"Velvet please I need to know what happened" I said taking the books from her and placing them on the ground pulling her into a hug

She started crying into my chest as we sat down and Yatsuhashi caught up to me "She told you to keep me from her didn't she?" I asked looking up at Yatsuhashi

He nodded "You're a good friend" I responded before going back to comforting Velvet as he walked away

I pulled her head away from my chest and cupped her cheeks in my hands and started to wipe tears away with my thumbs "Now please tell me what happened" I said in a calming voice

She reached down to her hoodie and unzipped it. She then grabbed the bottom of her shirt and lifted it "Velvet we're-" I was about to blush but I noticed the reason she had lifted her shirt

Her entire body was covered with more deep purple bruises "Please Velvet who did this?" I asked trying to hold back my anger at whoever did this

"I don't know" she whimpered putting her shirt back down

"What do you mean you don't know?" I asked cradling her face again as she zipped up her hoodie

"I mean I don't know who they were, there was a man with HC hair and a goatee and a women with Dark brown hair with a white streak through it"

I was getting angrier and angrier as she described the familiar people "the man just pinned me to a wall and punched me as the women yelled racial slurs at me" she said as she put her face in her hands

I brought her face to my chest again and she wrapped her arms around me. After a few seconds she let go and I looked at her then spoke "Do you wanna meet my parents?" I said trying to hold back my anger
