I know life couldn't get any messier
When I was broken last December
All my sparks flew away
I wished the bliss chose to stay
Wishes and falling stars gone wasted
Hoping our memories won't get tainted
I shouldn't have held on to these
There's no use for me to miss
Then came the merry songs
I knew nothing could go wrong
Yet again I was mistaken
Blinded by songs of angels
As the jolly season passed
It was never meant to last
Confusions came rushing
Once just like a zing
Then suddenly it hit me
Answers I've been meaning to hear
I should've let go from the past
I know nothing ever last
New Year came, I know I've changed
Numb inside enduring the pain
I was carefree than I can ever be
All my demons finally set free
