I missed you so bad
I've never felt so sad
Then suddenly you hit me up
Said you missed me, and I lit up
You went and picked me up
Then we set our track
You never fail to surprise me
I won't ever switch you up
We headed towards the mountains
Together we found solitude
Brought me in a special place of yours
I felt so special and valued
And then we were at the beach
Catching up as we sway in the swing
Walked by the shore as the sun sets
Footprints on the sand as our feet got wet
This type of bond amaze me
Just walking together to nowhere
As we talk and laugh without care
Lost and drowned in our own world
I'm grateful that nothing has changed
We still talk and laugh all the same
Although we rarely see each other
It's like nothing has passed when we're together
