"Ow. Ouch," Yan is getting treated by the doctor when he returned to the palace. Ming Hui didn't help him at all and only talked with Soujin who comes with them.
"Why don't you stop him? With your skill it's easy to block him," Yan looks towards his best friends resentfully. If only he steps up and block Jun Min attack, he won't end up with another bruise all over his body.
"You deserve it," Soujin says a simple sentence.
Yan feels defeated. Just a few days before this person has beaten him up even more badly to the point he cannot come out from his bed for 2 days. Now that another person has beaten him up, he doesn't help him. What a good friend he is!
Ming Hui coughed a bit. "But Brother Soujin is correct, Jun Min is still too young for that, so it's natural that he's angry. Beside, not every man is like third brother who chase after girls days and night."
"Don't say those kinds of words! You have gotten our bad influence!" Yan said helplessly.
Ming Hui stick out her tongue before retreating back to her room. It soon will be dark and it's impolite to stay at her brother residence too late. After Ming Hui has left, Yan leaned back on the chair helplessly.
Soujin stared at him. "Stop pretending, Jun Min didn't use that much of power to strike you. Beside, you have learned a bit of martial arts."
"Still, I cannot compare to a general," Yan retorted. That little boy surprisingly held so much power. Even Yan himself knows that he's not the boy match despite his training in martial arts.
Soujin picks up a cup on the table and drinks. "The plan is successful. You can rest easy for the next few days."
"Really? So quick?"
"En," Soujin nodded. "Thanks to some unexpected help."
"Then it's time for drinking!"
That night, the two men are drinking heartily but the next morning, Yan didn't attend the morning court because he's sick.
Inside his residence, Yan cannot get up from bed because he drinks too much wine the day before. The hangover makes him dizzy. On the other hand Soujin tolerance for alcohol is much higher, so he's still relatively fine and could return to his residence before it's too late at night.
Jun family residence.
Jun Zhenxian stared at the 'boy' in front of him helplessly. "Why are you dressed up as Jun Min? Didn't you say that you wanted to go to Lin family residence?"
"Of course to give Jun Hua some backing," Jun Hua answered. "If I don't show off as Jun Min, they might not know about my 'affection' towards my sister."
Jun Zhenxian feels that his granddaughter has gotten a bad influence from him. Now she could even lie with such a straight face!
"Take care of yourself. If you don't feel comfortable there, you can always return."
"Yes, thank you Grandfather."
Jun Hua smiled at her grandfather but she didn't say anything further. There is nothing she could say since her grandfather understands that she has her own thoughts. Before long, the carriages are ready and Jun Hua helped picking up her belongings. Yamin who dressed up as Jun Hua could only stands by the side and stays quietly.
"It's time to go," Jun Hua got into one of the carriage while Yamin and Xia got into the other carriages.
The Lin family members are waiting in front of the gate. Lin Tang had heard from Jun Zhenxian the night before that Jun Hua agreed to come here. Because of his meeting with the emperor the day before, he feels relief that his plan could go smoothly.
By his side, Chun Maora stands quietly. She's actually angry about the coming of Jun Hua to Lin family residence. But no matter how much she complained, Lin Tang won't change his decision. She could only stand here with suppressed rage deep inside her hearts.
Lin San and Lin Hong stand calmly. Lin San has heard about Jun Hua coming and normally she wouldn't have bothered, but this time she has to stand here. On the side, Lin Hong is expressionless. No one could think what this little boy thinks.
Lin Yuan is standing beside her mother and on the other side is a boy around the age of 13 standing there. The boy looks fairly small and thin for his age with his mother keep him far away from the others children. With one look, it's clear that they have been through a lot in this residence.
When the carriages arrived, the servants come to help them bring Jun Hua belongings. Jun Hua didn't bring a lot of things, only those she needed and some personal things. Xia comes out first before helping 'Jun Hua' out of the carriage. The people who stand there could personally see a beautiful figure wearing a veil come towards them.
"Jun Hua greets father, mother, brother, and sister," Yamin said in soft voice.
Lin Tang was about to let Chun Maora guide the girl when he sees a young man coming out from the other carriage. The person stature is not big, but his presence alone has brings pressure to him. Chun Maora and the others also turned their eyes towards that person and completely ignored 'Jun Hua'.
'Jun Min' smiled towards the group of people. Her smile is indifferent but still not cold.
"Prime Minister Lin Tang, Madam Lin," Jun Hua only greeted two people.
Lin Tang smiles turned warmer. "Young General Jun Min. It's a surprise to see you here."
Jun Hua nodded. "I'm here to escort my little sister."
Lin San sneakily looks toward Jun Hua and her heart skipped a beat. She finally understands why her sister could fall for him. Handsome, strong, famous, who's maidens won't have their heart moved?
Lin Hong could clearly feel the emotion fluctuation his sister feels. At that moment he feels that Jun Min is truly an eyesore. With such a good ability, why is he has to appeared among this family?
Lin Yuan heart once again pounded hard. She once again feels that she has fallen in love with this young man in front of her. Sadly, his gaze has never once come to her.
The little boy at the side only give a sidelong glance at Jun Hua, but he didn't have much reaction.
As Jun Hua talked with Lin Tang, she observes all of her siblings reaction. She feels that her time in this residence is going to be interesting.
