Xavier POV

It's been three month since I took over the Vines pack . And here I stand a the gate of what the people call the the seven and their master. 
Richard informed me of his partnership with them . Telling me all about the seven and their master.

Their master being someone he had never met , but I've heard about the other seven . An angel , twin werewolves, a Warlock, an hybrid, and vampires.

An odd set  but they seem to have been here for a carry long time, as Richard said  the have been here since their ancestors got here .

Damien my beta , stood beside me , grumpy about coming this far, I still remember  his grumbling about using his time in funding his mate rather that visiting a couple of ancients  as he put them

Mates are a general thought among wolves . At 30, I am still yet to find mine. Although it does brings a thing for worry , but I  have to believe that it not my time  yet
 
I do try to console myself with that thought

As I push the Oak  door

I feel a rush of power
And something I can't pin down

Beside my I can sense Damien being frantic

As he says  "'Mate""

I walk fast behind him
We reach  a huge hall and  we see them

My eyes search across the room , Not knowing what I was looking for but still searching
While in the background I see Damien moving towards a a young girl , or so it seem from my view point

He is rushing toward her , echoing ''Mate Mate Mate Mate''

Like  a flash
I see Damien land across the hall
He has been slapped
I think ' I do not want to be him right now '

Before I could complete my thought
I saw her .

'Ezra" she said
And the blond about it give Damien another slap stopped

I watched her as he came down
Long black hair , her round face , high cheek bones; chocolate skinned tones, she was  leather strapped for battle . But what caught my attention was her eyes , Grey in colour ; looking right at me .

''I guess this is a fruitful visit already " she says

I am brought out of my stance by hearing her voice

'-Welcome to our home "
''Please"  to the table with already sitting member of the seven I guess

For the first time since entering the room I surveyed my surrounding. 
Seeing all seven , you could see that the had an air of power through them , all of the even Damien new found mate , who as I can see is an hybrid , half vampire half wolf

I see Damien glaring dagger at his new mate, and an unknowing smile crept up my face .

My face is drawn back to the lady, who as I can see is sitting directly opposite me   I could feel my heart beating inside my chest .
Is she my mate , I tried to  scent her , then it dawned on me .That I couldn't, I could scent her. I tried harder but I couldn't.

I tried with the others  but I could.
I could smell her then but not her
