I could feel the grass brushing against my cheeks, I could feel tiny insects crawling around my body. I didn't care. I was totally at ease, this was my favourite place. I guess it's kind of weird to love a field that much, but who ever said I was considered "normal"?
Suddenly I felt a startling vibration in my pocket, it kinda ruined the calmness I had just felt. Mum. I scrambled up, wiping grass of me, and answered my phone.
"Hello"
"Jenna! For god sake, where the hell are you? You were meant to be home hours ago! I've been worried sick!"
"Sorry...I...I had to go to Sarah's house. I left forgot something the last time I was there."
"You could've rang me. Come home now please. See you soon Jenna," I heard the phone click.
I sighed and picked up my school bag. If only she knew.
