Reason To Live

Death, your presence is near
I wish you were here
Death, take me away
Please someone save me today

Death, a way to be free
Someone show you care for me
Death, take me I've had to much
Someone hold me in a loving touch

Death, leave this world behind
Someone help me escape my mind
Death, let me pass in peace
Please someone save me before I release

Before death takes me away
You look at me say
"Please, stay awhile."
And you end it with a teary eyed smile

I begin to tremble and shake
Realizing not everything I've been told was fake
I know this as you begin to cry
You were the one who didn't want me to die

I drop the gun
And begin to run
As I run away from the harm
I run into your arms

You hold me in a tight embrace
As a smile and tears are on your face
Maybe the heavens sent an angel from above
All I know is this is true love

With your smile
I know I will stay longer then a while
I hope this love lasts forever
Please let me go never

As love is all you give
I find more reason to live
And as we cry together
I know I will want to be with you forever

And as you hold me in your embrace
A smile creeps onto my face
And with that you say
"I love you, and I want you to stay."
