Forbidden

This is a story if a love that could never be,
Something people call a forbidden live you see.

I fell in love with a princess,
And that was the start of the entire mess

I know it could never be...
But can't you see...
This emotions is destroying me...

It's confusing my mind
Confusing my heart
This pain is one of a kind
A pain that will tear you apart

There's nothing I can do
Nothing I can say
Why does loving you
Have to be this way?

This feeling you can never find out
This feeling I'm trying to throw out

I try to avoid you,
But I regret when I do.
I try to talk to you,
But I start to fall in love with you.

It was all just a joke,
Never thought it would cause me to be broke.
Now I fear
You will see my falling tear.

You ask if I'm okay
I lie to get the question out of the way
Because I don't want to see the day
What we have fade away

I didn't think you felt the same
But these feelings can never be tamed
I wished you would understand
I just wanted you to take my hand

But instead, I hold something to my head
To show your favorite color, red
And a smile saying goodbye,
Saying sorry for making you cry

I thought you didn't feel the same, you would never want to take my hand
At least, that's what I came to understand
So instead of asking you to be my wife
I decided to take my life

As the princess ran to the lifeless body, tears in her eyes
You could hear her silent cries:

"Why did I have to get here late...
I wanted our love to be fate...
I should have told you that my entire life...
All I wanted to be was your wife."
