~ Keith's P.O.V

    As I enter my room, I punch the wall out of frustration of that argument with Lance. Damn it. Why does he always have to be on my tail? They keep telling us to get along and along and maybe there are times that we did but that's only a TINY little bit.

I can't see myself with a player and dummy like him. He will just bring me down.

I hear the door open and immediately knew who it is, "if you're here to talk about Lance, don't bother."

"Keith..." Shiro holds on to my shoulder, "you guys are a team. This kind of behaviour between you two can't go on."
"What do you want us, ME, to do about it? It's impossible to get along with that bafoon."
"Nothing is impossible if you give the will to it." Shiro smiles
"... you have a plan don't you."
"Keith, I feel like deep inside, Lance will be someone incredibly special to you. Maybe even more than m-"
"Never say that, Shiro. You will always be important to me no matter who comes into my life." I cut him off
"Still... accept Lance."
"..."
"I'll be sending both of you to a special mission. The two of you will be enough."

Hearing those words turned my stomach upside down.

~ Lance's P.O.V

I throw my pillow to the wall out of freaking anger. Damn that Stupid mullet! Always on my ass and had no shame. What did I ever do to him? It's not like I punched him in the face or something.... ugh. How do people expect us to get along 24/7?

I can't see myself with an arrogant and emo dude like him. He's going to bring me down with him!

*knock knock*

"Come in." I tell the person on the other side of the door.
"Lance, have you calmed down?"
"Oh Allura! Aren't you looking fine today!" I grab her hand
"Lance you never give up do you."
"You're the most beautiful girl in the world... I ain't lion" I feel so proud of this one!
"You've already used that one Lance..." she facepalms
"Oh then I-I will give you with a newly improved-"
"Not the time. I came to tell you that you have an important mission to do."
"Oh?! For me?! The sharpshooter!" I raise my hands in the air
"Yes yes yes whatever... and Keith will be working along side with you."
"KEITH WILL WHAT!?"
"The two of you will be working together in this mission"
"But Allura-"
"No buts. Get ready now."

Allura walks out of my room leaving me all gloomy and annoyed that I have to work with the mullet head, KEITH.

Could this day get any worse?

~ Lance's P.O.V

"Keith lets get moving to our destination."
"Shhh I don't need YOU to tell me that."
"Look man, I'm just trying to do the job here."
"I think it would be much easier without you here" Keith smirks
"Cocky bastard.."
"Watch your mouth-"
"Shh!"

I take Keith by the arm to hide behind a huge bolder from the enemies.

"Hmph!!!HMPH!"
"Shh... enemies.."
"..."
Damn it. I can see them coming this way.
"HMPHHH!!!"
"Oh sorry am I suffocating you?" I take my hand away from his mouth and he pushes me away.
"You could've killed me!" Keith whispers
"Sorry hehe. But we got some robo cops coming our way. It's very essential that we do not get discovered."
"You think I don't know that? Let's find somewhere to hide..."
"Shit we don't have enough time. Come!" I take Keith's hand
"Lance! I don't need you to lead me!"
"HYAAAAA!"

Keith and I fall into huge hole and we're going down pretty fast. Shit shit should've watched where we were going!

"Damn it Lance! Think before you act!"
"Too late for that now! This is going to hurt"
"Just use your jet pack!"
"Oh right" I turn on mine successfully
"Oh shit..." Keith lets out
"What's wrong!?"
"Mine's not working!"

Damn it really. No worries though! Time for Lance to save the day! I fly next to Keith and I hold him by his back and knees.

"Really Lance. This is how you decide to hold me?" Keith gives an annoyed look
"Fine I'll drop you" I start letting him go until he put his arms around my neck
"Don't you dare..."
"Haha don't worry I'm just kidding. You know Keith, you kinda look cute this way."
"You're so embarrassing!" I see Keith's cheeks going red
"See! Keep that up and the ladies will love you!"
"Just shut up and bring us back up."
"Alright, alright."

I fly us back to the surface and once reached, Keith got away from my arms as fast as cat getting away from a dog. Damn, does he hate me this much?

"Not a thank you to your saviour?"
"..."
"Alright then."

Honestly I don't really mind. That moment, it makes me realize that I don't hate Keith as much as I think I do. Maybe it's a just a human feeling to protect someone or just not letting someone die or whatever. But I didn't want to let go of Keith from my arms in case he falls since I don't want him hurt. I care about him more than I thought haha. Though, he probably hates me.

"T-T-Thanksforsavingme idiot"
"First of all, I didn't understand what you just said. Second, who you calling an idiot!?"
"I said t-t-than-"
"KEITH LOOK OUT!"
"Huh?"

I ran full on speed at Keith, pushing him to the side before the robo cop thing shoots him.

"Argh!" I shout in pain
"LANCE!" I hear someone shout

Shit it hit me instead didn't it... that's fine though... as long as he's safe.. I can't afford to lose someone else...

I look at Lance getting shot by the Robot's gun. Fuck he protected me! Damn these fucking robots...

I take out my sword and went charging at them with no slightest hesitation and no mercy. Cutting them to pieces.

Lance...

After finishing them all off, I ran to Lance who's laying unconscious on the ground.

"Lance, wake up!"
"..."
"Damn it, Lance... don't die.." I grab hold of his hand.

I can't lose someone else...

"Keith... are you crying?"
"Huh?"
"Are you?"
"You... you were awake this whole time weren't you?"
"Maybe..."

I punch his head. Totally deserved.

"Ow! Is this how you treat a wounded one?"
"No, a stupid one."
"How rude! But it's so nice to see that you would actually cry for me!"
"I did not cry!"
"It's ok Keithy boy, I won't tell anyone!"
"There is nothing to tell since it didn't happen to begin with!"

I help Lance get up but he starts falling back right away.

"Sorry Keith... I'm a huge burden right now."
"Yeah no kidding."
"..."

I look at Lance since he didn't give back one of his annoying fight back sentences which isn't normal.... he's doing that face. That face of a let down... someone who feels worthless. Why is he putting that?

"Well it can't be helped." I hold him by his back and knees, just like what he did to me last time.
"Haha Keith... it's comfy to be like this."
"Well be grateful. This will probably be the only time I'll carry you like this."
"You could've just put me in your back."
"No. Where your wound is, it will hurt more."
"How thoughtful of you."
"That's what team mates are for."
"... I heard you by the way."
"Heard what?"
"Your 'thank you' "
"I didn't say such thing-"
"Thanks Keith. For helping me out right now."
"... L-L-Let's go somewhere to camp for the night!"
"You look cute when you blush. Girls love that."

This guy is even more annoying when he's wounded...
