The Greatest Warlock they said

Not a soul racked with guilt

Not a soul who's committed

sins upon sins

upon unworthy wins

Not a soul at war with itself

Choosing destiny over love

Choosing power over wealth

The greatest warlock

And she's the greatest witch

To others

It was obvious

To us it was torture

To us it was pain

So often were you

Screaming out my name

In vain

Venom pulsing through your veins

In my dreams

In your dreams

Blood, death, destruction

Unobtainable love

My heart ached to be near you

As I posoined your own

Choosing destiny once more

Over the woman I adored

I watched you fall

I watched you rise

I watched

That's all I ever did

I find myself with 'what if's

My judgement clouded years prior

I find myself amiss

Watching you burn on a pyre

Your mind playing tricks on you

Making you see the worst

A serpent whispering in my ear

Making me see the worst

You were the best thing

That had ever happened to me

And I watched you fall

I watched your eyes bleed

The greatest warlock

They called me

Emyrs, hero, saviour

All I see is a vast red Sea

Swirling with the sins of my past

The greatest warlock

Or the greatest thief?
