Yumna:
We knew our lives were in danger, but we wanted just one day to ourselves. What if the person who wanted to harm us knew every move we made? I simply moved behind Ahad in response to another knock, wondering who could be here at 7am.

With wide eyes, I watched as Ahad carefully took my hands from his arms. I knew exactly what he was going to do, so I hid in the other room and remained silent while he opened the door.

Grabbing his arm to stop him, I said, "No, I am not going, and you are not going to open the door what if something happens to you," but he simply led me to another room.

Here I was freaking out, and he was telling me to calm down, "Do not worry, please just be inside and you will find me soon with you." Was not he even a little scared?

"Please, we have to face it sooner or later," he said, clenching his fist. However, when I grabbed his shoulders, he turned to face me and his eyes slightly softened.

I told him bluntly, "If something goes wrong, I will step in. If he was willing to risk my life, then so was I."

He remained silent, but I know what to do.

As soon as he opened the door, my eyes widened to see someone we had not expected. She was completely disorganized, with bloodshot red eyes from crying and puffy eyes. Her clothes were also different from the expensive ones she had been wearing. She also appeared to be a completely different person, and she was staring back as if someone had been following her.

"What went wrong?"

Ahad was still upright, possibly stunned. I moved cautiously until I was beside them, then I led her to the couches so she could relax. Ahad shut the door behind him and trailed behind.

With tears welling up in her eyes, she begged us to forgive her. "Please please forgive me."

Why did you come here and what happened? With doubt if even my eyes could believe what I was seeing, Ahad questioned her.

"Please believe me, I had to flee after learning that he had changed from the man I loved; I have no idea what happened to him."I tried to calm her down, but Ahad just nodded as I went to get her a glass of water. She was crying all the time, and my heart hurt for her.

She asked after unwinding for a while, "How is Imran?"

In brief, I answered, "He is better."

"What brought you here, and how did you hear it?"Once she was relaxed, Ahad asked her, and I gave her a weak smile, telling her to go on.

She stammered and sobbed, seemingly unable to speak, "He....he was talking to someone on the phone and I recorded... he wan...wanted to..."
Those were painful words.

She turned on her phone, and I was terrified to hear what was recorded; she could not say anything, so it had to be something terrible.

"I backed away from his plan because he was mad, but when I heard him, I decided that was enough, I had to come here," she said, her gaze falling on bags. "I had saved my money, it was not easy but I had to come and warn you all and save you," she said.

We just nodded, telling them we needed a break, but she shook her phone, opened her bag, found a phone, and turned on what she had recorded. "Please do not leave your lives are in danger this man you will hear is no longer my loving husband no idea what happened to him," she begged.

"She has abandoned my plan, my own wife, damn it," my uncle said in a furious tone. She just started crying, and I gave her a shoulder pat as the recording went on.

To whom was he speaking? This means that someone else was also involved.

"This is war, I will finish them all one by one slowly. First, I will make them sign everything in my name, just like they took it from me before. Then, I will share half of it with you. Finally, we will kill them slowly and painfully, just like they killed someone precious to me when we were together in London," he said, causing Ahad's eyes to widen and mine to look at my aunt, seeking answers.
