Chapter 1 The Truth

(Mikasa's P. O. V)
I was on my way back to my cabin we finally got enough money from the king to get little cabins for us. So now I have my own personal cabin to myself but of course it's the cheapest thing there is. There's only a bed, sink, bathroom, and a small fridge and that's about it for my room besides my nightstands. It was a break day today and I was hanging out by the lake with Eren, Armin, and the rest of the cadets. I had a great time though and Eren was being cute and just the thought of him made me blush. I decided right there that I would go tell Eren my feelings so I walked out and went over to Eren's cabin. As I walked to the door I heard another voice inside apparently the boys were all there.

So Eren are you going to hit on Mikasa? Jean said

What! Eren asked

Yeah you know since Mikasa likes you and all. Jean said

No she doesn't. Eren said

Yeah she does she always is hanging around you. Jean said

Yeah because she's my older sister who we lost are mother so now she's over protective. Eren explains

DUDE YOU REALLY ARE BLIND! Jean yelled

No even if she did I'd say no because to me she is my sister nothing more or nothing less. Eren said

That last part hurt me and I could feel my heart break I stepped back and walked away. Trying not to cry I walk on but it just repeated in my head his words. "She's just my sister nothing more or nothing less" it hurt even more I thought about it. I started to run into the forest and I ran in deep hoping no one saw me. So when I was in deep enough I dropped to my knees and started crying even more. I heard a branch snap and behind me was CAPTAIN LEVI!

Are you okay? He asked

Yes. I say lying hoping he would go away.

No your not. He said bluntly

Yes, I am. I say gritting through my teeth because he's not going away.

I saw everything Ackerman. He said

Now that was just embarrassing that now your captin saw you crying because you got rejected.

Don't waist your time on Jeager he's very blind. Levi said

What? I say

Eren may be many things but trust me he is right his mind is so small all he'll ever see you as is his sister. Levi said

Then I'll make him open his eye's up more to sh-

Your going to get hurt Ackerman you can try but I've had Eren for a year and he's blind. I've seen it first hand so just give up trust me it's going to hurt more you don't except it. Levi advised

I fell to the floor and looked down knowing Levi is right I will only be a sister to Eren. I thought

Ackerman you're a very well skilled cadet don't let a stupid crush bring you down. Levi said

What the hell I'm heartbroken and he's talking about me being stupid! I thought

If your going to be mad fine you can be mad but take it out on your enemies. The sadness and rage that stupid Jeager gave you because he's a little shit head that knows nothing. Then take it and use it as an advantage to you to make you stronger. Levi said

YOU LITTLE SHIT YOUR TALKING ABOUT MY LOVER HERE! I yell in rage

Now he's not your lover if he rejected you. Levi said with no emotion

I did something I never thought I would do I threw the fastest punch to the face. I hit him and his head and his cheek was now stinging red I was so mad I could careless that he is my superior. It took him a few seconds to finally look back at me and his eye's were now looking at me with rage.

You'll be sorry. He said

I started throwing more punches but when I did he was there one second and gone the next. I soon feel a kick in my back making me fall forward but I cought my footing and I turn to punch him. But he was once again gone, and then he had me pinned, his hands had my neck it wasn't pressured enough to choke me but enough to stop me.

Enough Ackerman your timing is everything and your horrible at it so enough I can help you to ease your pain. Levi said

Why would you help me? I asked

I know what your going through and it sucks so I know how to help ease your pain. He said

I tried to punch him but his hold is strong and his body is against mine in a strong hold and I can feel all his mucles. I stop struggling because I was done fighting and I wanted to just cry and that's what I did. H-how do y-you know how I-I feel. I asked angrily

That is only my story but trust me Mikasa I know that feeling. Levi said

That's the first time he called me by my name and not by my last name, I don't need your help. I say

Fine but if you want to change your mind you know where my office is just know it's going to hurt more and more it you don't get any. Levi said letting go of his grip and walking away.

I felt his hands leave me and then he walked away not saying another word when dinner time came I grabbed my meal and went and sat down. Durring the whole meal I could barley look at Eren because the words would come to mind. So I finished off quickly and went back to my room and cried myself to sleep.
