Chapter 21 A Cure

(Hanji's P. O. V)
It's been 2 years since Mikasa's death and Levi has gone back to his usual way and Eren started to date Jayla. I was told that we were going on a scoping mission because for some reason titans weren't near the wall. So I take a few cadets with me it was Sasha, Connie, Marco, Jean, Armin, Annie, Eren, Levi, and Mia. We went with a small group so not alot of titans could sense us. So I packed my horse gave Erwin a kiss goodbye and headed out into the field. Once we were in the woods we got on top of the trees and looked out. I've seen the regular animals like deers, bears, boars, and etc. But then I see the deer run and then this black creature jumped up and killed a deer.

Armin look have you ever seen that creature? I asked

No. He said

Wow I wonder where it came from? I thought

I made everyone follow me but thoughs who weren't interested to go back to the wall. Jean, Annie, and Marco left and it was okay but we follow the creature to it's home. It had a den then it looked around and layed down. A little cub came out and looked at the bigger one then went over and rubbed against the bigger one. I am guessing that is the mother that must be her cub. She layed down and started to eat while the little one played. I was so fascinated with the creatures it made me chuckle at how the little one played. All of a sudden the mother growled and came climbing up the tree. I tried to pull out my sword but was too late she jumped up on my branch.

HANJI! Everyone yelled

But instead of getting attacked it jumped past me and when I turn around I saw... a titan. The cat scratched it's eye's out and then went straight for the nape. The cat cut straight through and killed it on the spot. The claws went so fast it let a blue blur behind as it sliced the skin when the titan dropped dead. The mom went back over to the cubs and licked them each on the forehead.

The stupid cat has no clue you are there. Mia said

Just as she was talking I saw the ear twitch over to her and that means she knows we're here.

No she knows where here. I say

Just as I said that she looked at me straight in the eye's and they were silver. They looked familiar so familiar that I almost thought for a second a crazy idea. I decided to get down the tree and I was on the floor and she saw this.

Hanji careful. Armin said

Everyone started to follow my lead and get down out of the tree's everything was going fine until Mia cried in pain. The cub gave her a small scratch and she slapped the cub off of her and we watched it fly. Then she pull out her gun and was going to point it at the cub. When she fired the mother got in the way and dropped dead.

MIA!! I yelled

It scratched me. She said

You killed it's mother and now it's an orphan they may be the last of their kind. I say

So I'll go make sure the cub is okay then we'll take him back with us. She said
We watched the cub go over to the mom and started to cry a little it was sad. I notice the mother stomach was actually really slowly going up and down it was faking. Then Mia was walking over to get the cub from behind it's mother. MIA WAIT! I yelled

But the mother jumped up onto her and knocked the gun out of her hands then attacked her gear and cut it off of her. She looked pissed as hell as the cub ran away

(Mikasa's P. O. V)
I was going to kill Mia when suddenly I looked up and saw Levi it's been forever since I saw human's so I forgot my place. I made eye contact and started to make my way to Levi I walked over Mia and as I was about to say something. When suddenly I felt a pain in my leg I let out a scream of pain. My leg gave out as a sword cut it I try to move quickly but I hurt to much.

Run! I yelled to my child

I saw my cub ran to the tree where he is supposed to go to and hid. I was knocked to the floor and pinned down I felt the sword on my back ready to pierce through me.

STOP! Levi yelled

The bitch almost killed me! She said

Eren if your girlfriend doesn't move in 3 seconds she'll be the one dead. Levi said

Eren quickly removed her and I layed on the floor hurting from my body.

Hanji asked it your questions. Levi said

Right first one are you a boy or girl? Hanji asked

Girl. I said

Second what are your children boy or girl? She asked

Boy. I say

He came out of the hiding spot and ran to me and hid behind me.

How can you talk? She asked

That is one of the things I won't talk about for the safety of my child. I say

Okay what if we took you back to the walls unnoticeable so no one will hurt him. Hanji said

I suddenly heard a tree snap and then it began to fall and there behind it was many titans. Without any hesitation everyone scatter and I grabbed my baby and ran. I ran and ran till I was out of there but I was limping badly and couldn't get away faster. I saw Levi's horse fall and I ran over to him and he was unconscious I picked him up and ran to the mountains with snow. Once I got up there the titans started to slow down a little bit just enough to let me escape.
